Watching the NFL Show and they were saying that there would have been an independent doctor (not affiliated to the NFL at all) who would have been monitoring Tua for 4 days. I'm not saying that the Dolphins are totally innocent, but if the player, the team medical staff and independent doctors say he's okay to play, then where does the blame actually lie? Well the NFLPA's independent doctor was fired yesterday, so that's their convenient scapegoat sorted.

It's madness he was allowed to play four days later.

Some cracking games so far this season, only one unbeaten team this early in the season (and the bigger surprise it's the Eagles), the Jags topping their division (some defense to protect Lawrence means they'll be dangerous this year), the NFC East looking competitive (except Washington) and some strong starts from the Bills, Dolphins and Vikings. Hopefully the Rams can join them on 3-1 on Tuesday night.
Great season so far!

Holy shit the Jets held out. Early night for work the now so only caught RZ up to the 3rd quarter, but that's a surprise.
Roll on hometime and catch the Pack/Pats replay this afternoon.

I completely forgot about it !
Probably just as well judging by the highlights. Still not as bad as the Broncos/Colts on Thurs which has become meme worthy with how awful it was.
Dolphins on 3rd string QB, Pats the same, and Geno Smith chucking 50yd TDs with impunity. Wtf is this season so far ?

Some cracking plays on the Hawks/Saints game. A 40 yard laser precision bullet for a Hawks TD, some crazy interceptions, tight game now in towards the end of the 4th.

It's the Jets token win of the season, they usually get one at least. More like the absolute shambles the Dolphins are now (see also Steelers, Jaguars et al).
The Saints/Seahawks game has been a belter, and yes, NFL officiating is still as terrible as ever with that Brady call.

Being a Browns fan is like living in the worst toxic relationship. All take and no give.
Owner with a renowned twitchy trigger finger pointed at the best head coach we have had in forever. A Defence that can't do the basics and a special teams coach who turns everything he touches into shit.
I really should break up for the good of my mental health, but....

It's a baffling season so far...am getting concerned with the Rams though, all done after the Super Bowl win? Even the games they've won have been close and not many points on the board. After last year's it's hard to watch, and yes it's greedy, but I was hoping for a back-to-back SB apearance at least.
What are the feeding the teams over in the NFC East!? Finally the glamour division is living up to its pedigree again. Great Giants win versus the Packers this weekend, and the Eagles and Cowboys are marching on.

I watched 3/4 of the Giants game yesterday, no idea how they have that record, they looked terrible.
The Browns should be 5-0 but as usual they find new ways to lose games.

The team that has impressed me most is the Bills. The Rams could have Superbowl fatigue. Happened to The Eagles after they won. I am now convinced Goff is up there with Matt Ryan as shite quarterbacks made better by the players.

Yeah I think the fatigue in the Rams is real. They ramped up everything to win it last year, it became almost enevitable, I hope it's not to the detriment of the team for years to come (however much I enjoyed watching the season end with the SB win).
The Bills have been threatening for a few seasons now, maybe this is actually the year?

I think last year's unlucky loss to the Chiefs will have done a lot to make Bills such big contenders this year. Only real weakness is when it reaches the playoffs will their running game be enough to close out a tight game.
Eagles do look good and they have a solid D, strong running committee, a very good WR combo and a QB who can hurt (heh) you on the ground. But it's hard to imagine Hurts goes from maybe not good enough to be starting last year to winning a SB this year. The real back end of the season pressure might end up being a bit too much.

He's been on a downward spiral for the past few years, saved only by a few great passes here and there. Surprised the Falcons didn't ditch him until this offseason.
Ed: and meanwhile, Mariota who was always so-so, is just pinging absolute zingers for ATL. Great 75yd there, and a few last week too.
