Made it to Orange ranks last night with the closest set yet. Literally down to final round on the 3rd match, one touch for either of us would have won. It's only because the other guy did a dashing attack thinking he would catch me out running towards him but he missed and I just got one left jab in to win it. Messaged to say gg's afterwards so all good

Rank is character specific I believe, basically going up from 1 Dan upwards, so yellow is around 10-12 Dan or so. Tekken Prowess I dunno, think its just a general number that indicates the players overall experience through wins etc. So you could be fighting someone that's on a lower rank but if their TP is equal or higher than yours, then you know it's a decent player thats not on their main.

In addition, the game seems to go out of it's way to burn goodwill by introducing the premium shop which requires real money for things like legacy costumes and a paid battle pass where the good stuff is hidden behind the paid version which you must still earn Fight XP towards by doing daily and weekly missions. That, on top of a full price game and a paid season pass. And look I get it, maintaining servers doesn't come cheap, but it all reeks of company execs picking at the game. Also doesn't help when I think the premium battle pass is something like 600 premium coins or whatever but the only amount you can buy is either 500 or 1000

Think the recent patch will now show a player's disconnection rate when matching up so you can opt out before the match begins. Not sure if it's this patch either but I did read that they're looking to anyone on the receiving end of a rage quite the win with XP. But at the same time, there's stuff I've seen like stage hazards like the giant walls no longer breaking when they would have previously.

The Eddy bot that just mashes 3 is sitting at Vanquisher rank in Ranked Online. It's a fascinating watch honestly, you see players just struggling to beat it. I've seen it get 3 back to back Perfects against someone on higher rank. A Devil Jin player figured it out that you just need to mash the laser eyes on it and then just...stopped doing it and still lost when trying to play legit. The pros realise what's going on and just mashes 1 to beat it everytime but there are those that get denied promotion or get demoted because of a bot mashing one button and I can't imagine the confidence knocker it must be. Even the tryhards against it end up being so funny.
