I've never used any of the zombie meds that give you slight blood plague, are they good then? The few I collected went straight into the vault of too-precious-to-ever-actually-use, think I saw an Elixir from FF VII while I was back there. Scent block is brilliant. Slap some on and you're pretty much invisible, very handy for plague hearts apparently. |

I had a survivor mission involving that. We slapped it on then I just had to watch as she got slaughtered by about 30 zombies

Just started playing this, it's really good, it feels like playing Walking Dead.
I'm only on day 4, took out my first plague heart, have 3 outposts, made friends with a nearby enclave, but didn't let them join when they asked. I'm terrified of going out at night.
My group have just talked about making one of them a leader, and there's talk of finding a new home, but I'm unsure of either atm.
I love the gameplay loop of finding supplies and poking around seemingly abandoned buildings. I really love the sense of dread pushing further afield to find supplies, as the places near my base are now looted.
Just playing on standard, and it's balanced pretty well, I couldn't imagine how much harder it could get on other difficulties.
I presume there is a story to follow, and an end game and that probably entails killing all 10 plague hearts?

First part of the story is destroying the hearts then another story depending on who you pick as leader

Sucks he feels the need to do this in regards to Kotaku being shitty.
But also sounds like SOD3 isn't going to be a more of the same sequel
