That's both of you that have said it's nails now! Christ, that doesn't bode well for me - I'm a flailing buffoon in games like these, but it'll add to the comedy deaths I guess.
I did read somewhere about unlocking characters - I'll have a bash at sorting that out while I'm getting up to speed.

Finally did the first mission before bed last night! So I've unlocked Ash vs Evil Dead Ash, which is nice.
I realise the trick with the missions is really just to take your time and explore when you can. It seems apart from certain points, the Deadites are already on the map, so just take your time and kill them before going through an area. By the time I was at the final fight I had three shemps, two amulets and a legendary chainsaw and boomstick. Still tricky, but very much do-able.
Bloody marvellous.

Sounds good. I didn't get a chance last night, and it's band practice tonight and the gig tomorrow, so it'll have to be sunday at some point now unfortunately

Does anyone else have really bad stuttering and micro freezes playing this? I'm sure I didn't have it when I played it briefly when it first came out, but put it on this afternoon and it's barely playable.
Doesn't matter what settings I put it on it still happens, and my PC should be more than capable. Tried Googling but to no avail.

Looks like this will be this week's free game on the Epic Games Store, from 6pm GMT on Thursday. You'll have a week to grab it for keeps.
In other news, the latest patch has unlocked all the characters that were previously locked behind single player missions, which is nice. The new prestige system looks like a massive grind for little gain though; apparently Saber have already admitted they might have overdone the requirements.

The Epic Store giveaway has seen a *massive* influx of level 1 players tonight. Don't think I've seen anyone in a team above level 5 all evening! It's actually been good fun just trying to keep things casual by throwing *just enough* at them to keep them occupied and earning XP, while not overwhelming them. Sadly every team has somehow shit the bed and murdered themselves on random trash mobs in the final 2 minutes of the game, otherwise I'd let them win to give them an XP boost, hah  |
