Splatoon is great though, so this could be decent. Apparently there are a lot of Splatoon clones, it's just that most don't make their way to the West.

Watching the PS Access video about it it's a lot less Splatoon as I'd imagined, the disco duck mode looks very silly.

It had an open beta at one point, it's no Splatoon but it wasn't bad and plays differently
Takes a bit of getting used to since you shoot massive bubbles that float their way over to your enemies. I'll probably check it out. Not sure it has staying power but it was decent enough from what I remember
I also liked Destruction All Stars though so take what I say with a pinch of salt

From the PS store really and wait for a holiday discount. They seem to do one in the summer and Christmas. I'm going to let mine expire because the renewal price is a fucking disgrace.

This and buy PSN credit from Shopto to save a little bit more. But yeah… Sony have become a lot more stingy in terms of cheap deals. |

Yeah shopto reduce the gift card on a regular basis throughout the year. You have just missed out on the latest 15% discount on £100 top up (£85)
15% off is about the best it gets really and if you combine that with the sony discount usually around November or January you can save a fair bit.

Apparently Harry Potter Quidditch Champions is launching into PS+ as one of the monthly games for SEPTEMBER: www.playstation.com/en-gb/games/harry-potter-quidditch-champions/I wasn’t even aware this game was a thing before today, but it’ll be interesting to see if the old place goes to great lengths to avoid talking about it, like they did with Hogwarts Legacy. Considering the price hike we had, the quality of these monthly games has really moved in the wrong direction lately…. Borderlands is there presumably to tie in with the movie and sell some DLC… I wish I liked the series, but I tend to find them pretty crap. And not funny. |

I bought BL3 when it was a tenner on disc, it's okay but I never bothered finishing it as I just don't think it was all that great. Tales from the Borderlands (not played the sequel) is still my pick of the franchise and Gearbox didn't even make it.
I've no complaints in the games of Extra recently at least, there's been a lot of great stuff on that and I've spent a lot of time playing games I thought were probably crap (Crime Boss: Rockay City is actually pretty damn good now) or just came to PS with the awesome Dave the Diver. I've also been having fun patrolling the streets of Brighton in Police Simulator: Patrol Officers, it's as shonky as fuck but I'm having fun.
