Even so, this is his (and the rest of the inverted-Y lot, including me) decision to make, not anyone else's... People are set in their ways like they have every right to do so, why does it bother you?
I'm sorry, but this is obligatory... The joke Your head It's clearly bothering wunty, so...

It’s not now. I’m fine. I’ve inverted my attitude.

Why is this something that you even have a problem with? I'm just trying to cure you of your sinful invertedness. Feel free to live your life as you want, but you will regret it when the reckoning's due. And stay away from my kids!

Basically, I'm reading this as Wunty is young (inverted) Matt Damon, and Zagibu is inverted Robin Williams, telling him over and over 'its your fault'.

Also, Blood Bowl 3 is still the most disappointing game.

No mention of City Skylines 2 or Kerbal Space Program 2.

Cities Skylines 2 is so recent it may not have have registered enough yet. I have it but I'm too scared to install it.
KSP2 seems a good shout, but part of me wonders if there was a general assumption it was going to be a mess which factors into the impact here.

So the inverted Y thing, I push the stick forward for up (as I recall is generally the default setting for most games) is this game this way or the other way round?

The most disappointing game of 198…6? Was when Elite had to scrap the Scooby Doo cartoon game for the Spectrum that looked like something from the future at the time. Then a year later we got some garbage platformer instead.

I never invert. In fact, I’m so verted, I switch plane controls in GTA to the normal walking about scheme

Not (trying to be) being awkward here, just trying to understand. I've never ever given much thought to it as I've just used the stock controls on 98% of games I've ever played.

Same, every time someone says "oh it only take a few minutes to change over" no, I've been playing games like this since the days of the first 3D games were ever created, my brain is hard wired to inverting Y, no matter how many times people say it's easy I say it's not. Same here! The only game I recall I actually played to the end without an invert-Y axis option was the original Beyond Good and Evil back on the Xbox and I struggled every single moment of it, especially with that photo mode... Tried recently the remaster (which still lacks an option) and couldn't pass the opening stage... Did you at least find it easier during the bit at the end where the game reverses the controls?

No, not really!!!

Disappointed by the prevalence of invertophobia on FG. I thought we were better than that

The way I'm sure inverted people remember is by picturing themselves grabbing someone's hair and pulling their head back (like an analogue stick), so that they can stick the knife in more easily.
Because that's a daily activity for them.

There's probably also a close correlation between Y inverters and stand up wipers.

So out of the box, this game is push the stick away from you for up? Not (trying to be) being awkward here, just trying to understand. I've never ever given much thought to it as I've just used the stock controls on 98% of games I've ever played. Yes, this is non-inverted. Forward = Up. Basically it depends on which plane you put your controller. If you imagine that your controller lies on the xy plane (like the floor), then it makes sense for forward to be down, because the stick is basically your neck. If you imagine that your controller lies in the xz plane (like a door for example), then forward for up makes more sense.
But really it probably depends on which game(s) you started with. In the beginning of FPS games, inverted Y was much more popular than it is now. Like I said, I also played inverted at the start and for a bit more than 20 years. But less than 10 years ago I switched, because I played a game where you couldn't invert. But it's not difficult for me to change back. In many games, I even use both, for example for flying a starship, it's inverted, and for travelling on foot, it's non-inverted.
