Happy Christmas everyone. Been up since 6, but my older boy threw up everywhere due to a high temperature.
It hasn't dampened his spirits thankfully, and we'll bring him to the doctor when it opens later this morning.
I received a nifty 3d printer from the Mrs, so quite happy this morning.

I'm on my own with the cats and guinea pigs; my wife and kids went to the UK to spend Xmas with my Dad, his first on his own - I've been with him several times this year, the longest I've been in the UK for 20 years, I'm not being a heartless prick, honest!
My close friend, whose family is also away today, is coming over this afternoon and we're going to have a massive curry spread and watch Die Hard, like the grown men we are.

Going to my sister's to have a family Christmas today and my brother's tomorrow for Boxing Day, this year unfortunately I'll be doing the driving so a very dry Christmas isn't just going to be the weather forecast!
Have a groovy one whatever you're up to and I'll now get back to my traditional Christmas breakfast of a cuppa and a chocolate orange.

Merry Xmas everyone. My Nan is in hospital so I’ll be off to spend a couple of hours there. Taking my mum in as dad cooks. Not ideal, but then I’m not the one stuck in hospital on a day where I know my nan likes. Can imagine it being desperately lonely. Thankfully she seems to be on a mend and may even be out in a few days. So late lunch (like 6pm) then after that can sit down and relax. Probably to a few beers and Doctor Who.

We have my mother and my wife's parents and siblings round for food at 2pm.
Our home has now gained a couple of new lodgers. Goose and Bandit arrived early from Santa, my son asked for a couple of rats for Christmas. 😃
Should be fun when the cat finally spots them.

My daughter woke up at 11, so I'm already having a good day.
Now I'm struggling to set up a 3D printer she wanted so she could print D&D stuff for the myriad games she's playing simultaneously. Lunch is already smelling great and I'm getting hungry.
