I would think his size is going to be an issue but Joshua's lost to the smaller fighter before Bigger belly though. |

He'll "Usyk" all the right questions about Joshua's boxing skills.
I'll put a tenner on a Usyk by points win (I like an upset), Joshua's last fight was back in Dec 2020 against a pretty average Pulev. I'm backing him to get through the first five or six rounds without getting caught.

As I said I've been watching through his fights and he's a very good boxer. If he can live with AJ's size and strength (which is a pretty big if) I think he could well out box him. 50/50 fight for me.

Yeah I'd seen lots of speculation but wasn't sure if anything had been confirmed
I'm not sure that's a good idea if true, if they're looking to match speed and skill with Usyk. I'd have thought heightening the power and size difference might prove more successful.

Usyk seems to be going for the Bennett from Commando look for this fight. Which is an improvement on his other looks.

I dunno I can see it both ways really. The extra power would be great but if he's too cumbersome he's going to really struggle against him.
Whichever way he went it's going to be a very tough fight I think though. Looking forward to it.

Yeah I’m not sure the lean build really suits Joshua. He struggles against proper boxers, even the old and slow ones, should just bulk up and go out to knock heads off

The problem with bulking with his muscular build is that it absolutely fucks your cardio as your heart has to pump the blood around all that muscle. If it's just loose fat or you're naturally a big ogre of a man it doesn't affect you as much a carrying muscle.
Going lean was pretty much in response to the Ruiz defeat. He was carrying way too much muscle for that and he gassed very quickly. And to be fair it seemed to work, he looked way better in the rematch.

Ruiz was a fucking slob in the rematch tbf, he should’ve been knocked out just for coming in looking like that. Joshua hasn’t looked great since that loss from the fights I’ve seen, 40 year old has beens like Povetkin shouldn’t be lasting til round 10 against a champ

Povetkin was before he slimmed down wasn't it? He's only fought Pulev since the Ruiz fight and he looked ok in that.

I'm having a drink at the in-laws. I had to bring a Now TV Roku thing up as they didn't have anything to watch it on. I'm in the sitting room getting pissed and watching the under card while they're in the kitchen. An absolute result really.

I'm tempted too but I've regretted every PPV I've ever bought. Which is only about 4. But then I'll happily spunk the same amount on a couple of rounds, which is how I will end up justifying it later... Ha.
