Yeah, Royal Edition. Nobody in their right mind is going to buy the peasant edition.

Yeah I can see the standard edition for £2.49 but can't see the Royal Edition in the Microsoft store for £3.50.
Edit - Ah is this with the Game Pass discount?

Hah
Started Theresa dlc yesterday without knowing it is dlc. It is 4 to 7h long. Meaning it will take me a month to complete or so and will be longer than what I played as Henry so far.
I think I reload.

Yeah stick with it. It actually makes perfect sense to play it nice and early.

I am enjoying and have enjoyed my almost 70 hours so far, but I am thinking I might YT the cut scenes (as I would like to see the story through) rather than play the rest of the game, I'm barely halfway through, not sure I have the stamina. Probably just my yearly apathy to gaming kicking in with the summer. It doesn't help that I started Rise of the Ronin on Sat, so will probably be on that for a while.

Went back to this last week, after a month off. I have just become a Monk! I have to admit this quest line is somewhat boring and frustrating, checking on a guide and it seems fairly convoluted as well, but I will likely stick with it. Not heard too much more about KCDII lately, it is suppose to drop this year, so you would expect news pretty much now.

I feel great shame for dropping this. It'll be a monumental effort to get back into the combat again..

I love a lot about this game (90 odd hours played now) but it does have a lot of flaws, despite it being so "realistic" or perhaps because of it ? I hope 2 is a little more forgiving with some of its mechanics. I still may end up YT the story, as along with just living in the wonderful world it is what is driving me on. If I did quit now I would still rate my experience a high 8/10

If I did quit now I would still rate my experience a high 8/10 I do like it because the combat is a steep learning curve, but then also it's something that I never truly mastered even after 30-40 hours. I think if I was 10-15 years younger, then I'd perhaps be knee deep in the lore, and spending more time training. Also I haven't got as much patience to get good these days My other game shame being Elden Ring.

Managed to complete the Monastery quest line yesterday, have to say I did not like that, the idea was great but perhaps the execution of the actual missions didn't come off as warhorse were hoping it would ?
With every additional hour I put in and quest I complete, it does leave me worried for any major battles/fights that I have coming up. I have only killed 16 ncps over my 80+ hours and I would say around half of those were stealth kills, I have slaughtered a lot of cattle though!

If genuine I would not be surprised, this late into 2024 and no real updates I would be amazed if it did drop this year.

Just clocked over 90 hours now and I think/hope moving into end game territory. I have failed/missed so many side quests but I really want to just see the end. I love the story, characters and the world, but hate a lot of the frustration moment to moment gameplay brings in the name of " realism" I'm ready to quit at almost any moment through frustration with something or other but I get beyond that and to the next cut/story scene and I remember why I have put so much time into the game, albeit over 6 years!
