The sound guy seems to be pissed out of his face It's like he has no idea what's going to happen next and is always 5secs late fading old mics down and new ones up. Really weird. Maybe they are heroically battling a fairly major technical issue behind the scenes. |

The BBCs HDR feed is good except none of the VT bits have been formated for HDR colour space so all the colours are wrong. Everyone has a beetroot coloured face. Just a bit weird that no one bothered for such a major TV event that's all about the spectacle. |

Is there a mic live somewhere that shouldn't be? |

Yeah, they have a clean, direct feed and one from the stadium mics when they want the crowd noise or some fireworks but someone in the booth keeps switching wildly between them. |

The good to boring ratio has been poor at both the ceremonies. I know the boring bits are somewhat due to protocol and logistics but I feel like other host countries have done better jobs of hiding them. Had to sit through an awful lot of guff to get to the good bits.
