The title definitely sounds like a slur.

Dare I say it again, but I think one of the best examples, or sort of in the same vein at least, is soma

Hmmm. Noticed this got an early-access release for the deluxe version on consoles, but not for PC (not even a preload via Steam or Epic). That does not fill me confidence for the strength of the port, tbh.
I watched the intro scene and title credits on YT. Had massive 80s b-movie cult classic vibes, but I may need to not let my curiosity get the better of me until it's out in the wild on PC.

The EG video review has sold it to me tbh - www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oq98LGvyRkkDefinitely one for a sale, and no physical is a huge bummer, but it looks original and I like the janky PS2/3 AA revival.

Thread started out really positive too Does anyone actually like the Siren games? The remake they did was pretty crap I liked the first 2 Siren games, the first was flawed and clunky with the worst dub known to man but it was interesting and had a creepy atmosphere. The second improved in nearly every way, but was a bit too easy (in contrast to the first games highly punishing difficulty) and got the necessary Japanese voiceover. The PS3 remake was a bit lacking and overamericanised but was okay. I would like a decent remaster of the first two.
