The interesting parallel in terms of behaviour is that anecdotally behaviour in school has also been much worse. I think there's probably a direct correlation to people unable to process emotion well and the trauma of the last few years leading to escalating levels of poor behaviour.

The pitch invasions, flares, Paris, Wembley last year. No idea on how you resolve it but it's going to end with player's and fans getting seriously hurt.
As mentioned above, Covid lockdowns are definitely a factor, along with piss poor security/stewarding, booze and a shit tonne of cocaine available Ubereats style. The chance to be instafamous probably contributes.

I work in higher education and behaviour from our students is broadly worse than pre-pandemic too. But then our first years essentially skipped all the socialising you’d do between 16-18 and have been shot straight into adulthood so no wonder they’re struggling.

The stories coming out about the CL Final are terrifying. Gangs of hundreds of scumbags attacking people as they try to get to the stadium. The cops offering no protection other than a faceful of pepper spray.
Rugby World Cup next year and the Olympics in 2024, France/Paris has a lot of work to make people feel safe.

It was chaos at the Stade de France last night too, for the Nations League game between France and Denmark. Not much pepper spray for the voting crowd of course...
I think its becoming clearer and clearer that while unrest is up in general that France and the French Police have really lost control
That they could so effectively kettle 40,000 Liverpool fans for security checks but still be vulnerable to letting so many non-fans breach the bubble to attack them unhindered is ridiculous
There seems to be a Pochettino to England thing bubbling on Twitter. Obviously we’re not getting rid of Southgate before he WC but I can kind of see it, and it would be awesome.
This has been a fucking terrible performance from England, never got going and even without the iffy penalty Hungary always looked more likely to win today.
It might be doing the rounds on twitter but I don't ever see an Argentinian being our national manager. They had a big enough problem with an Italian doing it.

Bill in the rain: Don't blink. Don't even blink. Blink and you're dead. They are fast. Faster than you can believe. Don't turn your back. Don't look away.
