Was there any talk on here about the Nation's League stuff? The Mbappe goal was 100% offside, right?
A lot of people online saying rules are right, it was onside. Surely the defender has to try and stop the pass though, not knowing Mbappe was offside, and deflecting the ball through to him means active/offside. Right???
English refs being shit??

The rules now are that if the defender touches the ball, it becomes a new phase of play so it is correct that goal stands.
It's bullshit, but those are the rules.
