You have no idea how long I have waited for this news, assuming correct! I have clocked up over 3000 hours on Gears 5 (more on G3 and G4!) at this point.

Don't say that, I still have to give Judgment a fair chance! Maybe soon.
Anyway, it's been more than 4 years since Gears 5, I thought we'd know something by now. Then again, I'm not sure if maybe the right thing to do would be to take their time and reboot the series. It's really getting off the rails. The story in 4 was already boring, but in 5 it was straight up terrible.

Re J and Beers n Gears, we did play it, albeit Overrun was the go to mode or ffa. I like some of what J tried but not the "arcade" like campaign ( most of the actual chapters were fun though!) and as Vortex rightly point out red v blue is Halo and not our beloved series, who the feck signed off on that. I still play Gears 3 koth/tdm daily, still a good 100ish hard-core Gold Wings on most weeks. Locust Forever |

I actually prefer the look of the original GOW. Some of the color choices in Remastered aren't great imo.

I've actually not played gears 4 or 5 so I need to rectify that. Enjoying the OG again though. Just past the vehicle level with the Krill. |
