Shame to bin it so close to the end! Can’t you just Arnie it and kill all the mofos? I played that mission a LOT, and I can tell you it is absolutely possible to rock up a triple digit kill count and walk out of there laughing.

Ok I will shelve it for a little bit and come back to it then.
Just need a break from it or I will end up hating it.

Also don’t forget that you can go off and follow other chains, that lead to other gear and mods. Plus the more you play the better you get.
Certainly that one assassination was a brick wall for me, but by the end I was absolutely waltzing it for shits and giggles.

I just finished this. First game that’s held my attention to the end since my early pandemic finish all my games phase.
For a game that is all about setting up the end, that final ‘day’ was weirdly anticlimactic. But perhaps that was always going to be the case with so much build up. Nevertheless it was a very clever and well constructed game that did an awful lot of things very well indeed. Impressive.

kal. Good to hear, maybe not the anticlimactic bit this will be my first PS5 game, it was this or Returnal but this seems more my thing.

To be honest I find the end of pretty much any narrative form - games, films, books - to be a bit anticlimactic so probably just me.

For a game that is all about setting up the end, that final ‘day’ was weirdly anticlimactic My biggest issue with the final day was that I didn't get to keep the HEAPS of stuff I collected in the lead up to the finale. For a game that values loot so much, that felt like an odd (although narratively consistent) omission. Other than that I was happy with the choices presented, and the choice I made. Tied it up in a neat little bow. Find myself curiously tempted to play through again. Maybe in a few months.

Well into this. I feared it may be a bit complex and tricky but it's not really. And dying isn't a massive hindrance as I thought it would be.

Can't get my copy to start, the Ps5 will not play it? Installed fine and the disc is brand new...not a great start for the Sony.

Dumb question, but are you sure the disc is inserted the correct way? If it's horizontal, disc slot at the bottom, label facing up (obviously on that last part). If it's vertical, disc slot on the right, label facing left? It's unintuitive the way the whole console is designed.
If that's not the issue.. ahh, that first week of PS5 bugs. I'd have figured it'd be fully patched and without issues by now, as I've not had any all year, but maybe the big dumb thing needs to be worn in like a pair of boots.
Good thing you didn't have Miles Morales at launch.

Hi Spooky. I do have disc in correct way, cheers. Tried another disc, albeit a ps4 one and that works fine, likewise ps4 games from external hd. I have deleted DL and am installing again. My lovely Xbox doesn't treat me like this 😉👍😄

After uninstalling and the installing the game worked 👍 as for the game, sadly not sure if it's for me. Love the look, as it is just like Dishonored (of course) but the actual "deathloop" is not doing it for me. I should have realised of course. ..oh well.

Yeah, I tried the first two missions (basically find your flat, then come back to your hiding place), and it's just Dishonored again, with tbf a funner swinging 60s theme.
It's fine but it can wait till Kena and Judgment are finished before I go back to it.

And on that note I’ve gone back to Hitman again. Such a great game for dipping in and out of.

As said above, it opens up a lot more soon. It absolutely is not a Dishonoured reskin. Combat is a lot more viable and enjoyable for one, and the loot can be a lot of fun. Stick with it, I’d say.

What Phattso said. Plus stealth is not enforced although I do love stealth.

Finished it yesterday, it really just ends pretty abruptly huh? I know there's some secrets and stuff on the island but I think I've made my peace with the game. It's really good regardless, I'd recommend it.

It's bitten me now.. 😊 Got three slabs, including one I got by killing an invading random as Juliana. And I've upgraded two of those, once each. Starting to learn the maps a bit more as well.
Can someone give me a clue, and only a clue, of where and when to get the code for the delivery booths? Like, map and time of day?

alastair, good to hear I have parked (possibly never to return/return when on Gamepass) the opening didn't grab me, unlike the start of GOTG which did and seems a whole lot more fun. Different game of course but one must have fun

It's on a white board near a broken machine. I can't quite remember what time of day it is but it's when a certain part of the map opens up Near the art work stuff. Edit - realised that was from a long time ago and you've probably sussed it by now! Brilliant game though. Once it clicks and you get what you;'re doing it's hard to put down

I found it. Not used it though. But I think you need to in order to get some of the more obscure trophies. I can certainly see myself trying to get the Platinum on this one.

So, I've finished the main story and am working my way through the trophies aiming for the platinum. Seems that some of the trophies are bugged, although I've seen clips on Youtube of people having them pop up. e.g. killing Harriet with poison gas - I've raised the gas level in the hangar and kicked her into it. Twice. But it hasn't popped up.

My copy arrived this morning, I had a little play on my lunch break...initial thoughts are very positive. The voice acting is superb, really like the art style, and I can see me having a lot of fun trying different ways to tackle each area.

The 50s futuristic aesthetic is very appealing and very well done. The game is great, too.

It was honestly one of the most flat out enjoyable games I'd played in a long time. The difficulty was pitched the right side of fun and it kept me hooked from beginning to end.
