I have only ever obtained 1 game before official release and that was Killzone on the Playstation 2. It was only 3 days early, but I remember most folk online at the time were clearly journalists. Either by name or company branding.
I felt so cool.
I think the game shop I got it from went bust only a few years after that.

Simply, game collection and zhopto have frequently got me games early. I think I have had a good half dozen games 3/4 days early and manage to trade them in launch week for Pretty much the full value.

Due to game pass I've only bought four games in three years. Elden, 2077, the new Zelda and metroid. My bro has got me a couple more but outside of electricity cost my gaming is almost free.

baihu1983 I'm sorry this happened, it was very shitty from them to report your account. It wasn't your fault the game reached you early and they had ample opportunity to ask you to take down your videos. Why should you be punished for Argos shipping it early? In your shoes, I would be fuming...

I think they've reported every account. I mean if you're going to upload gameplay of a video before release date then that's entirely on you. This isn't a new thing, I'm not saying it's right but I'm surprised Baihu didn't see this coming.

Yeah uploading early is asking for trouble. I did try to stream something early on ps4 once and it wouldn't even let me as it knew it was before release.

To be honest I completely forgot about Bethesda bringing in those strict rules in the lead up to Dooms release. Considering I had 0 strikes before that a simple removal of videos would have been enough IMO. But if I have to make I new account I can manage those 2 minutes. |

Yeah tbh in this day and age I would really just not put anything online before a release date. Like Jambo says, this isn't a new thing to happen and they aren't obliged to give you any warning. Why would they do that when it's quicker to just nuke the channel. You shouldn't have even played it. Actually, you were crazy to even open the box.

It would never even have occurred to me that I couldn't upload videos before some arbitrary date. Then again, I never upload videos.
I wonder under what rules they got the account banned though. If it's short clips then it can't be copyright because it'd be fair use.
Maybe there's some youtube rule about it. *shrug*
I'd say appeal to Youtube, but I imagine that'll just be frustrating dealing with useless automated systems.
At least all the Lego that Argos spreads around your floor will work as a trap when the Bethesda hit squad break in at night.

Yeah as I've said I've uploaded stuff before the day before or what not. I don't upload much or want to make money off them I just use YouTube to save them rather than take up my space. Could have waited a couple days but its done now.
The email i got from youtube more or less reads as them saying it's probably lost unless Zenimax drop the copyright claim.
Sounds like they have also switched the servers off for now.

Ahh, I just tried the New Zealand method and yeah you can't even log on. Glol. Something tells me they wouldn't be this aggressive if they were confident in the product. I saw one review that was quickly taken down that had a score of 4/10 and a mid sized YouTube channel gave it 6/10. I guess we'll see if they're bullshit sooner or later.

The world didn't really need another bland looking looter shooter especially from a studio as talented as Arkane on single player side.
The whole game has looked dated and cheap like it's been sat on a shelf until Microsoft bought Bethesda.

Yeah I got a push notification from YouTube and his video was captioned with it.
Also unpolished in big letters.
Comes to something when dead island 2 which sat in development hell for 10 years comes out as one of the most polished games of the year.
