My bad  Setting aside the waifu wars for a moment, a *lot* happens after the latest palace - the game warns you that "the story will progress rapidly" (or something to that effect), and it wasn't kidding! That must've been an hour's worth of cutscenes at least. All good stuff, though, and it's nice to get some answers at last. |

Haha, holy shit. I mean, I knew it was a long game going in, so I'm not that surprised, but it still seems a tad excessive!
It's gonna take a certain amount of willpower to leave Armored Core VI in its shrinkwrap until I've rolled credits on P5R, that's for sure.

I'm tempted to follow your lead and take a break - although I'm genuinely enjoying the game, it's a *lot* - but I'm concerned that if I do that, I'll never go back to it.
Sort of like reading War and Peace (which I started, but never finished), I guess!

Part of the reason I dropped it was because it was all becoming quite routine and I was just going through the motions a bit. I'd rather wait a bit and enjoy the rest properly. I will have to force myself back to it at some point now though

How hard is the final boss in Persona 5, compared to what came before? I found Shido to be pretty straightforward, but I'm *way* under the recommended level for Yaldabaoth. |

I only got past Okumura by upping the difficulty, though! ('Twas the lesser of two evils, the other being grinding for levels; I fear I may need to take the latter route here.)

The last boss was a gigantic pain in the dick. Not in a 'this is tough' way, nor an 'I'm underlevelled for this' way - more of a 'bullshit RNG allowing a particular attack to insta-kill me, from full health and with buffs applied' way. Oh, well! It's over and done with. I'm in the Royal content now, or I assume that's the case. |

Couldn't agree more.
I genuinely love many aspects of the game, and even though I don't like the combat, it doesn't get in the way of my enjoyment... except during the boss encounters. They're so attritional and protracted.
