I like it how they call that public roadmap "Our commitment" and then go on to fail delivering against it on multiple levels. I get that milestones slip but maybe not use a term like "our commitment" to try to win back consumer trust. |

Also bonus points for the squadron of police that blinked into existence directly behind me when I stole the car at the end. Yeah the police were shockingly bad. No idea if that's fixed yet but they might as well of removed them completely rather than leave it in like that. |

It was funny just doing a quick 360 spin to lose the cops.
I keep meaning to dip back in and finish the side quest that was totally bugged for me.

I bought the GOTY edition of this for the PC a while back. Had played through to Skellige on the PS4. Trying to psych myself up to starting the whole thing again from the start!

So you're in the DLC? If you want the main game to end, you need to go out to Skellige and the like, do the story quests there.

Oh I've done all that, it's just how the hell does this game keep on going? I put in 8 hour stints day after day and there's still another 29 minute cutscene pop up

Yeah I have this installed ready to go on X just waiting on patch. Pick it up for £5 then realised I could have got the version with both expansions for £7.  |

After losing all my save data last year I dropped this in Velen but watching season 2 of the Netflix show makes me want to go back in.
How long is White Orchard? I don’t want to waste my limited gaming time on a glorified tutorial

Really short if you mainline it. Even with the subquests, it's short. You only waste hours if you try to uncover every question mark on the map.

There's 6 places of power you should try to find, but they're at the extremities of the map iirc, that's 6 ability points you really need early on

I really wish this had cross save on ps. Switch is good for handheld and being able to throw that same save at the PC is great but I’d also like to couch it on something that can actually run it well. Maybe that’ll be part of the next gen upgrades.

How was Thronebreaker? I was always kind of curious about that, but while I liked Gwent as a distraction in W3, I don't know how well it carries an entire game.

I felt the same way about the standalone Gwent release, but I think Thronebreaker - with its emphasis on story, and its top-notch writing - was excellent.
If it hadn't been a budget-priced, digital-only game (and if I didn't have Steifybobbins Syndrome) I'm sure I would've finished it. That's why I'm hoping this new Gwent game is a premium product... and if CDPR can see its way to releasing physical editions, so much the better! |

Yeah throne breaker is brilliant. The changes they made to Gwent made it far more fun for me personally and the story and characters are all excellently written.
