Not keen on that v6. Or at least not in its current guise. With the existing version of FG, you somehow managed to make it 'feel' like the old place to use, whereas that is not how v6 comes across. Maybe it's lacking colours/configuration, but this one is definitely great anyway.

Yeah, ideally delay the migration until any plugins being used in the current iteration are up to date. I use another Proboards forum which hasn't been customised, so looks a lot like that v6 example and feels like it belongs in 2002.

Took a look at the beta as a guest and I'm also of the opinion that what we have here looks better. The beta as it is now reminds me slightly of the much-maligned redesign GameFAQs had a while back. It got rolled back due to massive backlash at the time and it had too much empty space, missing features with little info on when/if they'd be added again and design decisions that just looked off or didn't make sense from any web design standpoint. The Proboards beta doesn't look as bad but there's definitely quite a bit of room for improvement (Danno says it doesn't accept GIFs yet, for instance). Just my two cents. Maybe I'm just used to this place too much, I dunno  |

Chrome, if you highlight a word or phrase it almost covers the word or phrase, depending on how you highlighted it. Like I say, it's shit.

Yeah, when you mark it from right to left, but I can even rightclick on the button and the rightclick menu still opens and works normally. In Firefox.

Another vote for binning the quick quote. It saves barely any time at all for the downside of getting in the way. More trouble than it’s worth.
