Sad news. He was a hero for a lot of kids, myself included in the 90s.
However the match fixing and the shit he got involved with ruined all that.
That said he's had a tough go of it for years since and I hope he fully recovers.

Today should be interesting, hopefully we can get one or two (three or four) with the new ball!

Robinson apparently learnt the wobble seam delivery from Jimmy in a less than a week. Seems like time well spent!

Very handy runs. Could do with nudging the lead towards 120 but may be ambitious

This is Test cricket at its finest. At lunch I thought England had a chance. 1 brings 2 (3!) and it's all India

They initially said India would forfeit the test (meaning series draw), but then took that line out. I suspect they will probably end up doing that, though, because it is what would have happened in any other situation where one team would not or could not take the field.

Not the way I’d like to see England salvage something from the series though. Not that there would be much play today, pretty wet out there

India have forfeited.
Outrageous behaviour. They all passed pcr tests. The support staff can be isolated from the players.
This is purely about protecting the IPL.

India have forfeited. Outrageous behaviour. They all passed pcr tests. The support staff can be isolated from the players. This is purely about protecting the IPL. It sounds like India have argued against the forfeit (ECB have changed their original statement and taken the "foreit" part out) and are trying to have the series either ended at 2-1 or have the 5th test postponed to a later date.
I agree that this is about protecting the IPL to some extent, but more so I think it's the Indian players protecting their big pay day (and so, in turn, protecting the IPL), and I can't really blame them. A lot of them probably earn more from their IPL contract than they do from all other forms of cricket combined in a year. But in that case, they should be honest about it and take the forfeit.

Yeah it passed me by.
I was sure it was supposed to start in November and be in Australia.
Only realised it had started when I saw some results the other day.
