They can take a while to load. Try leaving a page open for a bit.

Yeah, I'm often left baffled by some seemingly completely random comment with no apparent relevance to anything, only for a tweet to appear a while later. They could at least show some kind of placeholder.

They can take a while to load. Try leaving a page open for a bit. It seems to have fixed itself now (fingers crossed), but when it was happening I would leave a page open for minutes on end and nothing showed up, even the longest delays I've seen on the site were much shorter

Not really dog running issues, but anyone else having trouble with the mobile site at the moment? When I'm in a thread I don't seem to be able to click on anything, as it just pops up with a box where it seems to think I have a post selected. The only options are "deselect post" (greyed out), "report post" or "back to top".
Can't reply to thread or tap the navigation drop down at the top. The page numbers I can select at the bottom of the pages but not the top.
Desktop version seems ok, but isn't really usable on a mobile.

Pretty sure it's Android Chrome (as mentioned in musings thread)

Yeah, it's weird. Seems to only impact the top of the page. If you scroll past what initially shows up, it kind of works (but you can't get to the edit post option and some other weird behaviour) I've just installed Edge and it works fine there. Also works if you uninstall all updates for Chrome (which took it back to 128 for me) Also doesn't seem to be an issue at all with my Pixel 6 pro, just on the 8 pro so possibly device specific. /edit P6 Pro is still on 130, so maybe just a Chrome 131 issue that others haven't been unlucky enough to receive yet..
Been meaning to jump to Firefox for a while so might give that a try.

I made the decision to use Chrome many, many years ago when Firefox ran like shit for no reason. I'm sure it is better now, but Chrome serves up websites for me in a perfectly fine way, so I've not had any reason to not use it (until now!)

Yep this is shit. As mentioned, once you've gone into a thread on mobile/Chrome tap anywhere on the page and it shows that Report Post popup.
Odd.

Does anyone issues with Firefox on Windows? I've noticed it absolutely chews through RAM like there's a memory leak going on.

Yeah if I try to select a page at the top of the topic I get the report option come up. Also can't edit posts.

I've given up and switched over to Firefox. The site was useable, but cumbersome (and couldn't edit posts). Too much of my web time is spent here to put up with it though. Not especially tied to Chrome, so not a massive deal.

I'm somehow still on Chrome ver.130 (I say somehow because the 131 update has apparently been out for days), turned off auto-updates in the Play Store just in case it lets me avoid the issue...

There's a thread about it on the Proboards support forum, but they don't seem to have gotten very far. Seems to be Chrome 131 on Android that's the issue.
Their only advice so far is to use a different browser until it's sorted.

Yeah just noticed this happening on my Pixel today. Weirdly the buttons at the bottom of a page seem to work more accurately than at the top.

Thank Christ I looked in here.
Honestly thought I was having some sort of stroke when trying to use any button (except for ones at the very bottom of the page) in a thread and just getting random pop up options like "Report Post" and so forth.
Even thought my screen was fucked very briefly.
Panic over!

No such issues here for whatever reason. Using Chrome 130.0.6723.103 on Android 14 if that's any help.
