Shame for those non-league clubs who would have loved a big side away I guess.

Our humble little seaside town may have gone down to Spurs, but we still have the best potted shrimps and heroin in the country. So there.

All I want from the FA Cup is a big club at ground where the broadcast team are freezing in a portacabin, there are lads sat on the fence who’ve hopped it to avoid paying, there’s a legit chance of a missed shot landing in a car park and the game is played under floodlights

That half was awful. Public apology due if the second half isn't better - this is on TV.

Embarrassingly bad considering it's the only meaningful thing we're competing for. Like watching last year's side, shite from every single one of them.

I’ve had quite the weekend. £75 won off the Newcastle game. £100 on the Arsenal game. And I even had a cheeky insurance bet on the Spurs game which I cashed out for £25 we went behind. WINNING!

Forest vs us is gonna be absolute chaos. Game hasn't been played in about 8 years and with the cup...no way this is a 3pm Saturday kick off. Can only imagine tickets will be hard to come by.

Been terrible, worst I’ve seen for a while. Weird. Yeah, seems like to gel we need the first 12/13 players. Otherwise it doesn't work. Not sustainable, although even Odegaard, Saka and Gabi had off days. It happens. Congrats Forest, more than fully deserved.

The parallels with our woes post-Fergie are amazing. One game you've got it all figured out and can see the plan, you're turning the corner. The game after you look like a pub team full of strangers. Having a team that's absolutely impossible to figure out is infuriating.

Just reading that Ndombele got booed off today. Possibly due to his slow walk off the pitch while losing 1-0 more than anything. It’s such a shame as he is so talented, but that’s 5 managers now who haven’t managed to get the best out of him.
Have to admit, he looks knackered after about 5 minutes and his body language isn’t great. Might be best for all parties to try to move him on. Real shame though.

Tanguy clearly has all the talent yet he has zero desire to apply that most the time. Occasional glimpses of brilliance aren’t enough. I’d be happy for him to move on now. Lo Celso seems to be getting a hard time too but at least when he’s got some decent players around him (Kane, Moura, Son) that actually offer some movement and options he comes to life and can make things happen. Just need him to stay fit.

Having a team that's absolutely impossible to figure out is infuriating. Having to chuck a kid into CM, partnering a newbie without any experience of the cup, wasn't ideal. Those on the fringes just didn't perform (again). Tavares has gone backwards rapidly and Cedric was pointless. See also Nketiah. Ah well.

He's one of the most frustrating players we've ever had, unplayable on his day, but how often do we actually see that. I don't think he has the right mentality for the premier League and it's sadly time to move him on (especially frustrating as he put in some great performances for Lyon in the champions League before he joined us). I'm starting to think Dele is doomed for us now too, can't see him turning it around and again I think it's a mental thing.

I’m still not quite sure what Dele’s position is. At his best I think he played off of Kane, but had Eriksen creating and a solid midfield two behind him (e.g. Dembele/Wanyama). So he could just do his thing.
I think you are right though, he needs to move on. I’d love him to turn it around here but it doesn’t seem to be happening. A loan somewhere would be preferable but we may need to sell to raise funds. Wonder who would take him though.

Yeah, his best performances came with him sitting in that midfield role making late runs into the box. With Dembele sat behind mopping everything (and everyone) up. To date we are still suffering by not having replaced Dembele adequately; he was the heartbeat of our team (and that's saying something when we're still clearly missing Eriksen's creativity).

Yeah think it's just a case of understudies being miles worse in most positions still. The first XI aren't that far off anymore but as a squad there's a long way to go. That's why I think we'll struggle to do much better than 6th this year. At least losing today means fewer fixtures and we're less likely to need the B team. It's going to be a bumpy road for a while yet whilst the youngsters learn and the Cedrics run down their contracts.

I've completely dropped off interest but thought I'd give it a watch. It's like Groundhog Day. Same old mistakes.

One of the most boring cup draws in some time - all the big guns with easy home draws, and Spurs. As a Brighton fan getting the Spurs in the draw was utterly uninspiring, would much have prefered an away trip to somewhere like Hartlepool or Kidderminster
