Yes. Greenwood is only 20 and is a very talented footballer. Lingard is 29 and has been in form once in his career.

Yeah, Greenwood is the business. Has a bucketful of talent. Rashford too imo, but Greenwood seems more of a natural. An instinct you can't coach.

Rashford has come off the back of a lengthy injury, racial abuse in the summer and no proper preseason due to surgery.
His confidence is absolutely shot and he's shocking at the minute, but to compare him to Welbeck is way off the mark.

Welbeck never had the talent or numbers Rashford has had. He was a decent player and good team player but has never looked as good as Rashford.

Not sure how long his contract is, but nobody going to pay him what we are. He's dining off his workrate and youthful desire from a good few years ago. Has looked like he has zero actual talent or interest for years now. I was only able to listen to this match on the radio as I was driving, and the commentators on talk sport absolutely crucified him. It was brutal. The so called playing through injuries stuff only gets you so much leeway. Anyway sounded like we were absolutely awful and shouldn't have won. |
