He also add lots of inside knowledge that only 23 years in the peloton can give you.

I'll take MvdP  No way Caleb would have kept up with Wout and Tadej as they inevitably attack on either the Cipressa or the Poggio. He did alright last year with a similar group. |

Some stunts happening hidden away from the big publicity:
Mathieu VdP chases down a 7 or 8-man breakaway and drops 3 or 4 of them.
With 10k to go they get caught.
He then wins the sprint.
Jumbo VM dominating today's race.
Winnowed the peloton to around 10 riders (3 JVM) and then with 40k to go Wout and Laporte left them standing and never looked back.
Looking forward to a few head to heads in the upcoming classics.

I’m sure he’s got all the medicals, but I do hope MvdP has got on top of the back issue, him v Wout v Alaphillipe et all makes so many races.
