Wout happened? Tuned in just after. Vingegaard's chain jammed. He switched bikes with, I think Laporte, but it was comically large for him. He couldn't sit in the saddle. Was about to swap a second time with a smaller team mate when the team car showed up. Crossed the road just ahead of a large chasing group. Absolute chaos. Thankyou! I may have to go back and watch it then. |

They said the plan was to save the JV team by sending a rider in the breakaway.
Wout got away with only 2 others unfortunately. They were hoping for a group of 10 or 20.
They had such a generous lead that it didn't make sense to him to just sit up and let the bunch catch them up again.
