New film confirmed the day after Dwayne Johnson announced starring in a new video game movie.
Kill the non MK character right at the start and have Dwayne play...Khan?
Also find a way to bring Goro back. First film did him dirty.

Rock would be a good Goro actually. Him or Batista. That said, there's no guarantee the video game adaptation he mentioned would be MK.
Shame about the last movie. I thought it started really strong with the ninjas in feudal Japan setting, but once it became about Cole it got less interesting. At least Josh Lawson killed it as Kano.

Going by the interview it would seem Rocks film is based on a game that's never had a film before so possibly GOW.
Know Batista has been pushing to make a Gears film for years

He's also done a lot of promotions with Xbox lately so I wouldn't be surprised if it were an MS IP. Gears as LA mentioned perhaps.

I agree that Goro should get another go.
He really shouldn't have been so surprised at the main character's powers in the first one. Four-armed is forewarned and all that.

Yeah he would have been perfect for Kano.
That said, I actually liked the Kano we got.
Still keep meaning to rewatch the first one. I know it's got it's issues, but I enjoyed it nontheless.

Kano was probably the best part of the first movie tbh. He was the only actor that seemed to know what kind of movie he was in, the only one that looked like he was having any fun.

He was the only one that stood out, besides Scorpion and Sub Zero. I know Sonia was in it but don't remember what she looks like. The main guy was just sort of there. I remember the absolute nonsense around Jax's arms.
Was Reptile in it or did I imagine that?

Woah hold on now. The Paul WS Anderson film is a stone cold classic. It also gave us the definitive Shang Tsung that's still being used in games to this day.
