Never thought about it but I do know I'd rather have a cremation when the time comes.
A few work colleagues attended a funeral last year and Not a Dry Eye in the House by Meat Loaf was played.

This is genuinely one of the most uplifting and happy pieces of music ever written. My Dad had the Sky2 album on vinyl and it’s one of the first records I remember listening to as a kid. I still give it a spin every now and again.
FIFO from the same album is worth a go if you like instrumental prog rock.

It's the TV series of The Stand for me. It was also the first tune I taught myself on the guitar.

Yup, with Gary Sinise, Rob Lowe, Molly Ringwald et al. I was 12 or 13 when it came out and that song is intrinsically tied with not only the TV adaptation, but also the book that I'd just finished reading at the time. My whole life I've been obssessed with horror and my childhood was defined by reading nothing but Stephen King and James Herbert, so I feel like that song is linked to my own identity as well, hence the reason for it being the last one I want to hear.

I often think when listening to a song I haven't heard in a while "I wonder if this will be the last time I hear this song" which is why I then start to think what would I want to listen to if I knew it would be the last song I would hear. I'd likely not do that if I only ever listened to a few bands or types of music though. |

Funny enough Mum mentioned digging their record player out of the loft last week, so this might get a spin for old times sake. |

Probably one of my favourite Radiohead albums. Kid A ends with "I will see you in the next life". In Rainbows is mostly uplifting stuff and the last track is about leaving a message behind for your loved ones. Hell, even the little triangle "ting" sound that ends OK Computer would be a fitting way to go out.
