I didn’t realise his forgeries didn’t work until I bought 5 ferry stones and they all turned into quinces when I tried to use them. Pretty funny.

Uh oh, I was on my way back for that kit - wonder what it'll be...

Virgil, I think. Must be what the others said I guess. Ahhh, I know what that is. You know when you setup your pawn for the first time and you have to give it a monikor? I just chose something that began with V. It might be your settings actually - you can view other pawns by online Id, friends pawns, etc. This is only in the rift though. In the real world it should say Vyrt Nah, it switches back and forth in the real world (well - the real game world).

It’s like he’s putting them together with chicken wire and papier-mâché and a bit of poster paint, there must be a lot of myopic people in this world.

So weirdly I found the spot of my first seeker token in the first place I looked. The place that was sticking in my head was the tower in Melve. Felt like a long shot but LO and behold, there it was! Shame I’ve missed the deadline though. Or at least I think I have. Heading back there next and we’ll find out.

Yeah, that's where I thought mine would be. I'm close to the deadline but have a inn save I can go back to that's 2 days into it. Think I'll just suck it up and move on now. Apparently it's not a fail condition for the overall quest, and I'm not that bothered about achievements.
On the other hand it's really annoying me... I might just go back to that save and follow a video guide for all of the seeker tokens.
/edit Went through a video guide of the first 80 tokens and it wasn't any of those (skipped a few where my map was still foggy or you needed levitate to get to them) I guess it still could've been one around Harve village which is about where the video got to, but fuck that noise! It seems to be all I've done in the game this week and I just want to crack on with getting distracted by random stuff.
Slept a couple of times and let the quest time out instead.

Oops, I accidentally completed this just now. I kind of thought there would be another quest or something afterward! Missed quite a bit of stuff, even though I uncovered what I thought was the whole map and made a point of exploring nooks and crannies. Never found a sphinx, for example. I like that, it means I have more reason to replay it. I got the 'secret' ending, but I'm not sure I'll bother with the epilogue, it doesn't look that fun to be honest!
Anyway, I might take a break as it's been all consuming. Such a great experience, I'm not sure how they did it, but it's marvellous. The sense of place, atmosphere, and moment to moment gameplay are exceptional. Reminded me a lot of Skyrim, but everything about it is done with such a light touch that it feels effortless. Graphically it seems bad, ugly even, at first but something happened where it became quite beautiful to me. The secret sauce is the pawn system though, it makes everything you do in the game feel alive, even if they're talking nonsense, you can't help but start to see yourselves as a band of adventurers.

harrypalmer Noooooo! I know this is unsolicited advice, so please feel free to ignore it (or just tell me to do one - either's fine!), but the Unmoored World stuff is actually really cool.

Ok, thanks - I'll definitely give it a go later, it just reminded me of a certain Elden Ring area that I really didn't like!

It's pretty obtuse, even by this game's standards. Anyway, if you decide to give it a shot, feel free to ask me for tips - I got hopelessly stuck and resorted to using a guide, so now you don't have to

Turns out I hadn’t missed the deadline for the sphinx. Not sure that’s right but I’ll take it! It’s buggered off somewhere else now. Creepy fucker.
Beat the dragon in the ancient battleground. Now I might get into battahl and have a proper explore around there.
MS is now maxed so May go back to archer for a bit before finishing maxing out thief.

The Jasper, etc that you pick up- is that just another way to make money? Or should you save the gems? They don’t appear in the crafting storage bit…

Look at this redonkulous thirst trap someone’s created. She even has lip fillers and oiled up shiny skin. I only hired them so I could show you all who to avoid. (name’s Scarlet, by the way).

I hired a decent looking warrior yesterday for about 200RC and she turned up without a bloody weapon; as in, not just nothing equipped, but nothing in her inventory. We turned the corner from the rift stone straight into a troll which she spent 5 mins trying to fist to death. Straight back to sender with a rotten harspud.

I'm surprised it took this long for someone to turn one up tbh, I don't even have to own the game to expect that this sort of thing would be rather common for both genders

Ok now I’ve completed it! Great final act, very glad I didn’t skip it! Would love a physical guide book for NG+ as I feel I missed so much. Feeling a bit bereft but can’t justify buying FF7 or Ronin so going to jump in to Tales of Arise.

Currently doing NG+ so I can see the 'true ending'. Thought I'd give Trixter a go and realised it is shit when on a one on one duel in Battahl. Waving a senser around and getting the other guy to wail against a non-entity would be far better if they just had a heart attack with the exertion rather than me fail the duel. Shame there wasn't any cliffs nearby.

It's a class that would be a great Monster Hunter support class because I can definitely feel and see the shared DNA between the two franchises here. But yeah it's trash for what this game is asking of you.
