Are you ok with the Dpad on that? I use two pads when playing annoyingly, the Hori pad for online and practice fighting and the dual sense for World Tour as you really need that second stick. I also found the problem with my inputs on the Hori pad, it appears that there is an issue with how I set it up with the config tool. Why can't things just work?!

I use the tiny D Pad on the Xbox pad and it's a bit of a pain. As a Guile player it's a bit silly when you crMP into a FUCKING JUMPING KICK.

Yeah, the dpad is actually pretty good. I’ve got a new joystick on order to swap out for the other one in my tournament stick, but I might just stick with this, tbh.

Just a heads up that this weekend is CEO - an FGC event in Florida and the first major SF6 tournament. Multiple Capcom cup winners will be in attendance. It’s going to be really interesting to see what sort of characters and strategies are shaken out by this! I have a Sanwa JLF arriving tomorrow. I'm struggling with quick inputs on this Seimitsu LS-32, so I'm going to try going back to that. I know the JLF also has a large throw similar to the LS-32, but I've also ordered a thicker actuator to remedy that, plus a 2lb spring to make it stiffer.

Yeah it will be super interesting. So far the most dominant player I’ve seen at the top level is BigBird, and he’s using Marisa - but is as of yet untested against the far east. He’s been smashing quite a few guys from the EU though. He’s not going to CEO but he is going to the Red Bull Kumite the following weekend - as are most top SF players from around the world. So that will be another super interesting tournament as I think it will be the first time that these folks will face each other offline. |

One her/my biggest weaknesses is not being able to convert to anything from lights so you’re always fishing with big buttons. I don’t suppose that’s a huge problem if you’re actually good.
Not having a good anti air is annoying, though. Some characters just have a god button.

Had a great best of 5 last night in casual (my Ryu vs Dee Jay) - came back from 2-0 to win 3-2.
The winning wasn't the 'fun' part (though it helped) - it's more learning his patterns after a couple of matches and learning to stop making the same mistakes he was punishing me for.
Love it! I love using Ryu but need to learn another character or two - everyone knows what he's about and it's pretty difficult to open the attacking.

I met a diamond Blanka in BH this morning. Oof.
He had a lot of ways into fairly big damage without using too much meter.
Strangely there seemed to be a lot of MC players on too. I've found early mornings it's usually the more dedicated players I see in BH.

If you arent a spam fingered fuckwit like me and keep blowing your supers, you are pretty much guaranteed an autopilot 60% in the second or third round from just a medium punch or a DI. B_E and I played a longish set last night and I kept absolutely robbing him with my L3. |

It gets pretty intense. |

I need to add drive parry to my game, the drive rush is so useful, though my button layout makes it tricksy.
Also I still haven't worked out JP. I get battered by multiple ground spikes and that grab projectile.

Haven't played in a while, but holy shit what is it about Ken players in Battle Hub all being, well, a bit dickish. He obviously wanted to show me how good he was and kept following me around after I matched him after he beat me twice. It was utterly obnoxious.

I haven't played many but you've played more than me Nick. I've already met an obnoxious Ken, a sound Chun Li, and a Lily who only wanted to play when they were winning and stopped after one loss. All in Battle Hub.
