THE ALTERS trailer didn't tell you what kind of game it is, but liking the Duncan Jones' Moon thing it's got going on.

The sooner people realise card games and video games are 2 separate things the better.

That plague tale trailer looked good. Is the first one like that and worth a play or should I just wait?

System Shock remake looking amazing with loads of deliberately retro stuff.
EDIT:
They're interviewing Warren Spector about it now.

Itβs P3P though, which isβ¦weird. I get them wanting to include the girl protag, so understand the decision on that merit.. but the streamlining gives new players a bad impression. Like people whose first exposure to Persona being 4 Golden on Vita, who then go back to play P3P on PSP don't realize most of the ideas of 4 came from 3. For a first time player, I don't think it will make any difference. I started off with P3P and loved it to bits and never felt as though I was playing a lesser version of something. I'd play FES now over it for the 3D world and cutscenes, but it's still P3P that made me fall in love with Aigis the game
A combination of both is the ideal though. A bit of a missed opportunity

I think A Plague Tale is more of a stealth puzzle game. It's about working out how to proceed/trial and error. Get caught and you're dead, try again

A seagull exploded in the I Am Future trailer, so that's a resounding Yes from me.

Not much trial and error tbh as the game is quite easy it's more of an interactive story. It shits the bed for the last chapter though but is still well worth playing.

I don't know what this is now, but they're using something from Dance With The Dead's most recent album on the trailer.
Oh, it's a whole bunch of games from New Blood Studios.
Oh wow, this guy sounds like he's got a nose full of Columbia's Finest Export.

The Xbox thingy seems good for Xbox only owners with Gamepass, for multi-platform gamers, much less interesting. Even after years and years of acquisitions, Xbox studios don't produce something along the lines of the quality of the Sony exclusives. Ah well, maybe next year....
C'mon Nintendo, let's see a Direct announcement and some megatons.

So my gameplay trailers wishlist was:
- Starfield - Fable 4 - Jedi: Survivor
- Vampire: Bloodlines 2 - Space Marine 2 - Breakwaters
- Cyberpunk 2077 DLC
1 out of 7 is at least something.

I don't think Bloodlines 2 is still a thing anymore, man. That game has had such a troubled development, from the delays, to the allegations around Brian Mitsoda and his studio being taken off the project.

If it is still in development, I'm hoping they've changed the storyline significantly, because the idea of playing as a thin-blood wasn't what I was hoping for when they first announced it.

I kind of feel bad for not enjoying the MS show more. Huge amount of varied stuff on show, nearly all actual gameplay, all coming out in the next 12 months. On paper it ticks a lot of boxes, but a lot of it just isn't for me necessarily.
That said, RedFall, Wo Long, Forza Motorsport, *Diablo IV, Starfield, Plague Tale: Requiem and Scorn should more than suffice in making a Game Pass sub worth it for the year. Assuming any of them are decent that is.
*Yes I know it didn't say Game Pass, but that acquisition has until June 2023 to close (surely not far from Diablo's release), at which point I'd expect anything from that wheelhouse to drop on Game Pass. Previous arrangements with Sony not withstanding...

Wo Long and Starfield were the highlights for me. Plague Tale 2 and Forza 8 just below them. A couple of the indie games shown were nice too, specifically the isometric Annapurna game and the voxel anime Alice in Wonderland game.
Overall, it gave a bit too much of a PC games feel for my tastes. State of Play was more my thing, and condensed much tighter as well.
Kind of surprised by the complete lack of Capcom presence at MS' show. Even though Sony got the big SF6 and RE4 trailers, Capcom usually shows up at the MS events, be it something like a Dead Rising, Lost Planet, or I don't know, maybe a surprise Dragon's Dogma reveal. ππ½
Oh well.
