Think the confusion is more to do with bonuses, cap limit and suchlike, and whether he's staying on roster for a few more pennies albeit not playing.
Bengals 3 TDs down, and I don't see a repeat of last week tbh. Chiefs barely broken a sweat.
Edit: But they start the 3rd forcing two Chiefs punts. Damn you Bengals, with this sliver of hope.

I respect both Reid and Mahomes but I admit I was rooting for the Bengals to win the game and they did. The last thing I wanted was the Chiefs to be the next Belichick/Brady dynasty. Unbelievable a 2nd year QB was able to do what he did against that Chiefs team. Imagine if he had a decent OL.

Squeaked a win at the death, damn those 49ers really have a grip on the Rams, but they managed to turn it on at the end.
Bengals will be a good game. If the Rams do lose the final at least it's against Burrows and a team that continues to shock everyone (rather than the last super bowl we were in which was so dire).

Bungles might be the worst team I have ever seen get to the Superbowl. Admittedly I am hopelessly biased as a Browns fan. We swept them in season including putting 40+ points on them in our first meeting, and our offense was hopeless.
Looks like they were just they were just destined for it, they have made some plays and have had tons of luck, fuck knows what KC were doing in the 2nd half.

Not a Browns fan so don't have your biases but the team that went into KC and pulled off that win despite refs being blind to obvious KC penalties look like a team that will give LA a run for their money.
Either way, the halftime show has the potential to being the best ever this year:

Disappointed the Chiefs lost yesterday but Bengals were better in the second half. Couldn't score in the second and stupid mistakes cost us. Can't say more than that. I guess it helps that Burrow seems pretty likeable. It's the story all fans want to hear too, from a bad place they get a reputed QB and in a few years has turned the fortune around to competing in the Superbowl.

Rams to win, to boost the LA fanbase, Stafford to win and medically retire (still a lot of wife/doctor pressure about his neck) and that's because he's still on his Lions pay, let alone the Rams salary. This was all posted last Sept, even before Von Miller/OBJ signings... Usually find these things browsing subreddits at work, some hilarious stuff at times. My issue with the whole thing is that it's just another case of throwing money at getting the win. Think they're $5mill over cap, so cuts will be coming somewhere. Hmm. |

Anyone planning to watch tomorrow? I usually watch the first half, so I seem to always miss the good stuff. Still, I did put a tenner on the Patriots to win after they were 28-3 down so did ok there. I'm going for a Bengals win. |

Yeah I find myself in the bizarre place of wanting both sides to win, would be delighted if the Rams do it but also happy enough for the Bengals. Mostly just want the game to be a good one, enough to warrant staying up to see it through to the end.
