Picked up Hela in the token store this morning. I've played a deck with her a few times and it needs a few tweaks. I know it's recommended to have invisible woman too (which I don't have).
My question is how does she protect Hela while you're discarding your cards? Does Hela not have to be played in the location with Invisible Woman to have any benefit?

If Hela is in your hand, you can put cards like Lady Sif down behind IW, but yes you do need to put Hela in the same location (I think) as the hidden cards reveal last.
I think Hela decks are probably my favourite, but they are pretty random.
Do you have Colleen Wing? She helps a lot as she discards the cheapest card in your hand. Oh and Ghost Rider is handy when you inevitably discard Hela first turn.

Guarantee I discard Ghost Rider nearly every single game. It's like the RnG targets him

Good idea re putting him in to bring back an early discard of Hela. Though everything worked out last game, and I brought back Leader and Ultron, bit still didn't win. But it's still fun to play |

I love control style decks and it's what I've been playing for the past 2 evenings, but the cubes sure are a slog to get. You really have to snap early because as soon as they realise they're fucked with no play, they are outta there.

His +1 energy is an On Reveal but his play 1 card per turn drawback is an Ongoing so you get to have your cake and eat it too. Also, anything with a negative power like The Hood or Mister Negative. |

Just saw someone play Galactus for the first time. Great intro animation, I wondered what the hell was going on
(I won the game too- fool shouldn’t have played it on the location where I had Dracula, it was obviously going to end up high scoring once he pulled one of the cards I had left)

Tip #1 - do NOT ever spend credits in the shop for instant upgrades. You get plenty of boosters normally just by playing the game and it's an incredible waste of credits.

What do you spend credits on? From I have read here it's all pretty much F2P unless you want to speed the process up. For something this good i wouldn't even mind paying a bit of money towards it but not sure it's needed |

I hit the 10k credit cap last night, so actually had to pick up a few of the instant upgrades. Couldn't hand in any missions until I'd done that.
Aside from that, yeah, don't bother with them.

Credits are used along with boosters to upgrade your cards in your collection which, in turn, raises your collection level. Raising your collection level is the main way to get new cards in this game.

You will be swimming in boosters and have no credits to upgrade them eventually. Rotate your cards around so you're not always playing the same ones and you get boosters for them. The more cards you upgrade the faster your collection level rises and the more cards you unlock. Rinse repeat |

My Dracula/Lockjaw/Morbius deck is smashing it at the moment. I'm hoping I might make Platinum this time round. Gold is noticeably tougher than Silver though.

This deck is working for me tonight .. took nearly 40 cubes in the last 6 games Something somebody did to me once was play Lizard onto a location, followed by Mojo. I couldn't work out whether to contest it or leave it alone... sadly I still don't have Mojo to try it for myself. |

I'm loving this game - been playing for a little while and up to collection level 1044. Really enjoying experimenting & trying to build decks around different cards
Lately I've been trying to get a Mr Negative deck working, with mixed results.
Sunspot, Green Goblin, Ironheart, Mystique, Wolfsbane, Brood, Jubilee, Hobgoblin, Iron Man, White Tiger and Dr Doom.
In seven turn games I almost always win, or if Mr Negative gets played early by some other random effect, but in a 6 turn game if I can't play him until turn 4 its more of a toss up.

Psylocke seems like a pre-requisite for MrNeg so you play him ahead of curve otherwise is really turns in to RnG lottery you get the cards you need I seriously undervalued Sera until last night. Having all my cards drop in value for turn 6 means I can pretty much flood the board with which works great with bishop or dropping a nova and carnage combo to suddenly buff my lanes. I got Mysterio yesterday and is the only reason I started with it. I didn't realise that each clone counts for bishop. |

That's good info to have re Mysterio works with Bishop.
Just had a game there where my opponent had Nick Fury, Maria Hill, Coulsen, Quinjet and the Helicarrier.
Gotta admire sticking to a theme!
