Marvel Snap - who's playing?

Phew just made it to 70..chuffed with that. Had a very difficult time early season. 80+ next month hopefully

So starting tomorrow with the new season, once you hot a new ranked tier you get an extra 50 cubes, rather than just 10. Should help a bit. Going straight from 90 to 95 will help that last grind for people.

yeah it's sods law that when you're the most bothered about wins the matchmaking, locations or your card draw will line up against you.

I have a rule now that if i get on a losing streak I stop and come back later.

the matchmaking definitely gives you a harder time at peak times like evenings when everyone is on. I've sometimes managed big cube streaks easily when it's quieter like early morning at the weekend, string of bots instead of the hard bastards.

I am now 800 tokens away from Thanos. I promised myself that once I got Thanos I would actually *dun-dun-duhhhhh* make a new deck.

Until then, it's Dracula with the occasional zoo, as always.

The 'buff' to Sandman from 4/1 to 5/5 ruined my most reliable deck. It was based on playing strong early cards like Lizard and Maximus, then playing Sandman to stop the opponent taking advantage, with Ronan/Captain Marvel/Magneto giving flexibility of how to handle things after that. Been struggling a bit since then. Now Sandman is too late to be useful.

I'd managed to get up to 40 within a couple of days, then never got above 45 all season.

I do find sometimes if I play the same deck too long, it stops being effective, so wonder if it's bots being played against me with counter cards - switching to a different deck does seem to improve things often, but despite having about 10 different ones, I tend to play the same 2 generally unless going for a specific mission.

Just bought Dracula, so should be able to make a better discard deck at least.

Picked up 2 pool 3 in open play and bought a couple over the last two weeks, so now 15 cards shy of finishing that level, but still only got 3 pool 4, and no pool 5. 2700 tokens though so think I will see if I can nab a good higher ranked card to mix up my play style a bit.

I just watched a supercut of 'game defining moments' with Nimrod... Leech, Leech, Aero, Cosmo, Leech Leech and some more Leech. In fairness this is a guy playing at a much higher rank, I don't see much of Leech down in the cheap seats.

My token shop has a Black Panther variant in it. Surely it should only show base cards you have yet to collect.

Weird, I just got bumped up from level 19 to 25. This happened to anyone else before?

They've changed the progression. When you reach a milestone they give you 50 cubes instead of ten.

So 20 to 25 rather than
19 to 21

Is that only when you pass through it the first time in the season?

Or could you, say, jump up to 25, find yourself on a loosing streak, and then instead of trying to get back from 22 to 25, just loose a few snaps to get back to 19, then climb again?

I'm not sure on that either.

I do know they said it's only for ranks 10 to 50, iirc

I suspect it's only the first time you pass through, as a way to help you boost up, but could be handy if not.

I think I got to about 70 a couple of seasons ago, but didn't manage to get past the mid 40s last season, so will have to see how it plays out this time.
