The helasgambit deck I posted a page or so back got me to 56 but it's my patriot deck that has me climbing I to my 60s. Admittedly it has Super Skrull in it which is helping me quite a bit. It's great for the Wong, Luke cage, hazmat combo that I'm seeing a lot of.
The thing I've very accutely noticed is the change in opponents when going from the hela discard to the patriot. I'm not seeing the shuri or Thanos leech now anywhere now. It's all destroy, or movement or card builder/collector decks.
There is clearly a mechanic that matches you to opponents with a deck somewhat opposed to your own.

I was away from this for a week or so due to travel and general busyness, and it felt like a relief being away from the game. Went back to it today, and I could take it or leave it to be honest. I'm at a stage now that the card acquisition process is off-putting. Thinking of binning it off This was my exact feeling at the end of last season but 3 new decks and I'm hooked in again. Admittedly it did help getting some crazy RnG to bag 2 cards but I guess the principal is still the same. Change it up with something new. Have a look on marvelsnapzone for some random decks with the cards you own (helps if you already have all your cards marked in a collection). |

Shuri has just popped up in my token shop. Got her pinned but may wait until I see how they nerf her. If rumours are true

The mechanic is sound really it's just the options for handling/countering are very restrictive so it runs away with cubes. It's this scenario that means adjustments need to be made.
Either Cosmo the lane that shuri is going into .. what 33% chance at worst but better odds based on lane RnG.
Shang the follow up biggun (usually red skull), again potentially another %33 guess.
Handle taskmaster which again is Shang or aero. Not every deck uses Shang and not everyone has aero.
Or Kang ... Hahaha
But you'd still need one of the cards to handle it in your hand.

I'll be saving my reserves then, definitely sound like improvements to that side.
The new conquest mode sounds good too.
One thing I gleamed from that is the new rank matchmaking, making sure you don't play someone with more than 30 ranks away. I assumed it would have been within 10 already - 30 still seems like a lot!

Fairly heavy day on this today, and managed a high water mark of 57. The new five level boost assist was a godsend.
My new favourite combo is a skip on turn five making them think The Infinaut is coming, then an Aero + She-Hulk turn six. Almost no way out of it, as long as the lanes are favourable.

That's a pretty shit change for players with loads of P3 left. In fact it's going to fuck me over a bit too to be honest. I have 14 remaining in P3 so it's all 9n the reserve RnG or a free one a month. |

Reading the announcement, I assumed it had meant S3 cards would be as before, just in their own separate shop so you could finish them off whilst also pinning S4/5 cards in their own separate area.
I only need 9 S3 now, but it does seem an odd choice.

It's an odd list of changes. Think it will just piss people off I reckon. Should just make it so other cards are more viable rather than nuking existing cards

New data mine has revealed the High Evolutionary, a 4-7 that unlocks abilities in no-ability cards like Cyclops and Misty Knight.
To be honest I really like the sounds of it, I'm fond of those cards as I mostly use Patriot.
Nebula and Howard the Duck details also revealed

The free pick should literally be a free pick. Let me have whatever card it is I want or need on that pick. Then rotate the shop with s.3 cards at 1k a purchase. That way people get the card they want straight away and still have access to other selections aswell as the random ones in caches. Me waiting 8hours a time for one bloody card I want or need is just going to be annoying. I'm sure there is a reason for it but just feels clunky |

I was half asleep and just grabbed a card that I'll probably never use (Attuma), so at least I don't have to go through checking in every 8 hours until next season...

This is probably the most interesting card there has been so far and I want in ASAP. I have all the non-effect cards already. Surely activating the hidden powers of cards will break the patriot buff and it happens at the start of the game ala Thanos and his stones Edit: 5000 tokens now. Reserves are throwing them at me |
