There are 2 Goblin's in the trailer. Looks like new Goblin from Spider-man 3 too.

Think he(Venom) will show up in a post credit scene.
As for the six I get the feeling it's not the official group they just happen to be in the movie with only 3 or 4 teaming up.
Doc seems like he will be offering guidance through it

Aye, looks like Peter uses the Iron-spider suit to disable the arms, bringing Otto over to the fold.

It looks more like him than DeHaan from Amazing 2.

One of the foreign trailers has a very obvious scene where a character is digitally edited out. The fight with lizard and sandman, they’re looking at something that isn’t there and then lizard recoils like he gets hit in the face by something.

Assuming that's the other Spider-men, which they seem really keen to keep for the movie.
It will be such a surprise when they show up....

Honestly it would be a bigger twist right now if they didn’t show up. But then it would also be a double down of the Ralph Bohner shite.

Maybe it's an ultimate troll and instead it's just Miles

A live action Miles Morales is inevitable no?

I think it depends on whether Holland signs on for any more. His contract is up, I think, so bringing in Miles seems appropriate, and he’s already been mentioned in the first Spidey. Probably not in this movie though.

He's been making comments about not wanting to be playing spiderman after he turns 30 so he's probably got 1 more stand alone film in him

Disney and Marvel would need to get some new deals going too. This is supposed to be the last, and Sony are building their own Spidey universe outside of the MCU continuity.

Enjoyed that trailer and looking forward to it, but I did sigh a bit seeing yet another Spider-girlfriend fall of a building and him having to do a after her. I know they’re probably going to subvert expectations but that horse has well and truly been flogged into the ground.
This is probably the closest we’ll ever get to a Sinister Six story so should be fun.

I don’t disagree but they’re also making bank so I don’t see any major shift any time soon. And I don’t think Marvel will want to continually have to work around them to include Spidey in their stuff. No do I think Sony want to continue down that path. It all fell apart after the 2nd film for a reason. I’m expecting this 3rd film to write Spidey out of the MCU, hence the No Way Home, so that they can close the door on it until the time comes that they could get the character back in their own stable.

Legion is on Disney+ now I love X-Men but was this shite? No, it wasn't. It was very weird, pretentious at times, but I liked it overall. Just be aware that it's got basically nothing to do with X-men, aside from one or two characters. There's not a huge amount of action in it either.

To be fair, Sony did make Spider-Man 2 and Into The Spiderverse, which are the two beat films imo.
How much are we going to get in this? Miles Morales? Venom? What the hell is going to break through?

I’m basically expecting that MCUder-Man with be joined at the climax of the third act by Raimi-Man and Amazing-Man, in very short but crucial “we’ll help you in this final battle!” roles. One of them will save Mary Jane when it looks like MCU-Man has failed to. “Not this time!” he’ll say, pulling off his mask to reveal his CGI de-aged head clipping through the particle effects.
Everyone will expect “6” villains, so when Venom turns up the others will briefly convince him MCU-Man is a bad guy and they’ll fight, but Venom will fight the villains in the finale and it’s him being erased from the trailers. Mysterio will be back but as a computer generated illusion run by that moustache scientist.
Mary-Jane, Aunt May and Spider-Man will return with Venom to his universe, because no one else there knows Peter Parker is Spider-Man. Raimi-Man or Amazing-Man will die in the MCU and everyone there will think Spider-Man is dead.
In a post-credits sequence, a five year time-jump shows Disney lawyers signing an agreement that gives Disney total ownership of Sony. They throw the plans for PlayStation 6 onto a fire and it summons their dark god Dismammu.

So, using the logic we've all learned from Spiderman and Batman sequels, if this movie has 6 villains, it's going to be 6 times as awesome as Spiderman Homecoming - right?
PS/ The best reaction videos are the Red Wedding reaction videos. See people traumatised for life. Fun times. (and big spoilers if you're that one person who didn't watch Game of Thrones)

I think there’s been plenty of movies that show that “too many villains” or “too many characters” were never the problem. Spider-Man 3 sucked because the writing sucked and that’s it. You could draw a line to the studio mandating venom appearing in the film and the director just hating the material, but whatever the underlying cause, the writing and direction sucked, venom was just tonally inconsistent with the previous two movies and Raimi’s strengths as a director. And the Emo Parker stuff was just stunning, so embarrassing to watch I can’t even.
But the Nolan Batman movies each had maybe 3 villains and they were great (disagree if you like being wrong). Marvel started going “too many characters” crazy from Civil War onwards but the right directors totally made that work.
The problem with Batman And Robin was not “Too Many Villains” - it’s that the movie just fucking sucks. Too many nipples and nostalgia for the 60s TV show.

Batman & Robin sucks, but I would argue it's fine because everyone involved knows it sucks and just leant into it. Batman Forever is worse because it sucks but everyone involved actually tried.

I enjoyed Batman and Robin more than Dark Knight Rises. Come at me. I did too, but I watched it in a cinema in Spain in Spanish, and I spoke almost no Spanish at the time. It worked quite well like that.

For context, I hated Batman Returns, Batman Forever and Batman And Robin. I liked Dark Night Rises better on repeat viewings, it obviously wouldn’t be possible to top Nolan’s Joker movie. I just wish the bad guys’ plan made just a little more sense.

I'm not saying that Batman and Robin is a good film, mind (though I can see what they were trying to achieve with it)
Just that I enjoyed it more. It was dumb, and it was fun (in a bad kind of way), and Chris Nolan is constitutionally incapable of making things that have fun in them. That self-seriousness worked fine for Begins and TDK, but Rises was crying out for a sense of humor, and none was to be had.
