We're all probably guessing based on our own experiences who's the most popular unless there's some clear metric I'm missing.

Sony have had plenty of flops (Kraven unlikely to change that) but have made serious bank from the Venom films which certainly means they're not giving up on trying to make more money with the IP they've got the rights to.

The Spiderman games are also big winners for Sony. No idea if the IP rights cover all products but Sony ain't letting go of Spidey anytime soon.

I believe xbox passed on doing a spiderman game. Classic. For the movies I believe Disney get the merch money and Sony get the box office.

Indeed, Sony has Spider-Man and associated character rights for film and television (that is runtime related so why Disney can make Spidey cartoons but they can't make anything longer than about 30 minutes IIRC).
Games are all licensed but as Disney made something in the region of $100 million from Spider-Man 2 without risking anything I think they're happy with that relationship. A third of the game's budget went straight to Disney.

Late as usual (but at least I saw it in the cinema), but finally watched Deadpool & Wolverine.
I really rather enjoyed it. Plot was virtually non-existent but that really didn't matter, it was just an excuse to stuff a film with irreverent fan service.
It's not something you can do over and over as it would wear thin but as a one off it was hugely enjoyable for a nerd like me. And very funny too.
I enjoyed it more than the second Deadpool film for sure.

Trakt says I watched Eternals in March this year, but I can't remember a single character or any of the plot. From what I've gathered it seems realistic I did indeed watch this movie nonetheless?

Don't worry no one else can remember too. I mean I know their names purely based on knowing them from the comics but I would imagine most people don't even remember the movie existing let alone the character's names. I will only love purely based on the fact that it had Kit Harrington and Harry Styles in it and they will never be in any Marvel stuff going forward and Kumail working out for a "Marevl physique" and he was essentially removed from the final third of the movie.

It's so weird when you see actors known for playing schlubby nerds, and they get absolutely jacked for something else later down the line. They're not doing anything wrong or anything, it's just this strange disconnect. Like "that's not how you're supposed to look!"

And somehow Jesse Plemons can do both

Daniel Radcliffe in Weird definitely fits that. I mean it's his body and he's entitled to get ripped if he wants, but it's just plain unsettling seeing Harry Potter with a six pack.

Don't think anyone has posted this 85th anniversary of Marvel video. Moderately interesting as it contains a few new snippets of footage from Thunderbolts*, Cap, Daredevil, and Agatha. I like how you can totally recognise Harrison Ford as the Red Hulk.

Definitely that, and not just laziness. Definitely.

Is the Agatha series going to be playing much into anything important going forward do we think?
I’m not feeling interested in it at all and I’ve watched basically everything else up to this point.

Honestly, no. It's another tv project that I couldn't give a shit about that really only got made because of fan reaction during Wandavision.

Whilst the truth is that it was basically greenlit because Agatha was a popular character, it's possible that it might tie into a future Young Avengers story or even Secret Wars. Also, recent comments from Marvel bigwigs have said that future series will be ongoing, not miniseries; so this might just be season one of a longer arc.
Also, it's Kathryn Hahn as a comedy witch, what more do you want out of life?

Sony scrapping something for creative reasons suggests Sony are trying to exert influence over the project.
Given that Sony are fucking useless creatively I fear for the film.
Edit: missed the community note.

Well I mean if we look at the original link it says absolutely fuck all and is just a schill to get people to pay for his patreon. I mean Gremmi does kinda have a point about people, myself included, of just posting stuff blindly.

IIRC, when Across came out, wasn't there a report about how Ward & Miller were very last minute micro manage-y, and late stage decisions had led to Beyond being pushed from a 2023/4 release to a 2025/6 release? So some kind of further tinkering/"strife" and another delay would track to a certain extent.

The strike didn't help. They also shot down the chance of using AI after someone at Sony said they wanted to start using it to get stuff out quicker and at less cost.

It was delayed indefinitely, and there hasn't been any update to that. The only bits of info have come from the actors mentioning that they were beginning recording.
