I should have been clearer, apologies. The enquiries thing was about those that appoint an enquiries that is independent of them, then try and interfere with it before it gets near its results. It is like a lemming going over a cliff, rather than seeing it as a show of strength by letting your actions be scrutinised.
The poseurs thing is a personal bug bear. Festivals have changed to accommodate those that saw the fringe communities having a great time, and thought I want some of that, but none of their music. I am usually drunk when I post.
