Any recommendations for cleaning kits for use on gaming devices? I've recently bought a red DSi off eBay. It's in pleasingly good nick (and looks smart in that colour I must say), but i would like to give it a bit of a clean before giving it to my daughter.
So are there any cleaning kits out there? Any advice?
Do's and Don'ts for not wrecking the d-pad and buttons?

IPA (Isopropyl Alcohol) and some cotton buds seems to cope with most jobs in my experience

Does that stuff work for white analog sticks. Got a girlfriend that loves to snack and game and her controller is filthy.

Ha. I cant even get her to use a fork. Or kitchen roll. Or anything. I'm probably so extremely careful with my gaming stuff she has swung the other way and just doesn't care.
I imagine that'll change if I have kids.

Crisps are the worst for this - touching another's controller with greasy fingers should be criminalised.

Might as well post this here, one of my PS5 controllers has developed an issue with the right stick. Took it apart, after watching watching some tutorials. Once you have the battery cover off, you are supposed to remove some ribbons. There is a blue, rectangular one, near the front of the controller. But I cannot see how it detaches, without really pulling it hard. Anyone tried this before? I cannot quite figure out if it anttaches perpendicular to the circuit board, or if it fits in somewhere horizontally. And is it safe to give it a firm yank and hope for the best?
