Terrible luck for poor Cav- extend a year to try to get that one stage, then catch a lurgy right at the start of a tough first week.
Nightmare.
I was so pleased for Bardet, what a nail biter of end. You could see them getting reeled in and i was shouting at them on the telly to stop looking back and just stick the hammer down as best they could!

It seemed kinda ok live, just drifting off a bit on the top half and pulling it back with power on the bottom half. Vingegaard must have been the slowest descender of the top finishers in that final leg. Not that I think he's poor either. |

Never really seen him race as this is his first Tour so I guess, not much descending in the classics. He didn’t crash too badly in the big one, got onto the grass before hitting the deck. Vingegaard might be more affected by that one
