Has anybody played that canoeing game? The graphics look amazing Yea I have that. It is, indeed, very pretty and a nice chilled experience. For someone who has played VR since 2016 this one can make me a tad queezy - literally sea sickness :-)

PSVR2 coming at Christmas (had a PSVR1 in the past). Getting GT7 and Resi4 with it, already have Resi 8. My top PSVR1 games were Ultrawings and SkyrimVR, so looking forward to Ultrawings 2. Loved the bow in Skyrim so perhaps I should get Horizon in the future. Also played Red Matter so will probably check out the sequel when it is cheap. Excited! The bow's a lot of fun in Horizon (early days for me mind)

I think it's time for me to take a long hard look at my lifestyle.

I said this at the time of the announcement that I would buy one based on Sony providing more first party support, and if anything they've done less than the original PSVR that I purchased. I'm glad I didn't splash out for the second, despite me wanting to experience the technology.

I think the firewall studio shut down because their game wasn’t good and no one bought it. Nothing worrying about that.

Firewall on PSVR1 gave me my first realisation that VR could be something special. I was behind a crate on a level when an enemy through a flashbang towards me. Instinctively (and holding my little plastic PSVR gun), I looked down and away from the flashbang. There wasn't any thought behind it - it's merely what my body did in the moment.

/pretty please...
This would help me justify my most extravagant hardware purchase of the last few years. I'll also take Alien Isolation. I've completed it twice but would love to play it in VR. I may not survive the experience, but fuck it.

Interesting, had been toying with the idea of a MetaQuest3 for MSFS. This might be an option though and get two platforms of support.
Will have to check how they compare.

Looks like Flat2VR are working with developers to make official conversions of flat ps5 games, and have source code of several title already.
Sold my psvr2 late last year (felt guilty buying it) but got a bit of Vr itch. Gah!

People getting much use out of this? Got back into GT7 Sport mode recently and was very close to drunk buying one at the weekend. Is there actually any decent games planned for it?

I think the smart money is on waiting until PS5 pro has landed and what the extra horsepower that will mean for PSVR2? Hold back on the sauce until then

People getting much use out of this? Got back into GT7 Sport mode recently and was very close to drunk buying one at the weekend. Is there actually any decent games planned for it? I sold mine late last year but I regret doing so. I’ve been thinking of re buying one or a quest 3. I’m such a twat. It didn’t get loads of use after I finished with GT7 and Resi 8 but I kind of forgot that I thought it be a thing I use periodically and with how VR is in general, i wasn’t expecting loads of new releases. GT7 is amazing, especially on a wheel set up. Probably the biggest next gen moment I have had and I’ve easily put in another 70 hours into the game. I think it has dad a pretty solid year - synapse, Vertigo 2, RE 4, etc are all meant to be pretty good; and it has ports of most of the best Vr games going as well. I think Metro is the only biggish game coming out though. Wanderer and Bethmoth seem to have people excited in VR circles too. Hopefully assassins creed nexus will get a port. A studio announced that it’s got source code for some ps5 games and are working on Vr conversions too. It is an accidental drunken purchase type buy though. Maybe a bit hard to wholly justify, but just about enough there to make it not completely worthless. If that makes sense.

Mainly using it for Walkabout Mini Golf at the moment. Which is my favourite VR game of all time. WMG works fine on a Quest 2 though.

Still not gotten around to playing it tbh but does still the flagship recommendation. Just noticed the Star Wars game is down to £12 too so will definitely be picking that up, alongside RE4 for the boy's birthday.

There seems to be a lot of games. My issue is a lot of the games rely on a gimmick that gets boring after about 20 minutes instead of making a game that’s fun.
Pistol Whip is still by far my most played game, if I had to choose again though I’d probably go for the Oculus 3. I don’t enjoy GT on it and everything else good is on the oculus but without being tied to the PS5 cable and location.

The other thing I invested in is a USB C magnetic adapter, so if the cord gets trodden on etc, it's not going to break. £10 for peace of mind.

Yeah, likewise, will have to pick that up.
I'm not using my PSVR2 nearly as much as I should. I'm hoping Alien: Rogue Incursion and Metro Awakening will change that this year but I'm not sure it's wise to look for a return on my investment based on decent story-driven VR games.

Fuck me thats a pretty huge step up from the first one. Only tried GT7 and Star Wars so far. If anything Star Wars impressed me more, looks absolutely insane. Not a sniff of motion sickness either so must still have my legs.
