Fishing meets cthulu, what's not to like.
It's actually a pretty chilled little game for the most part and we'll worth a look if you fancy something a bit different.
Gather fish, sell fish improve your boat. Realise things are a bit fucked up and ignore it so you can keep fishing and improving your boat.

Yeah, keen to play this too. Will probably pick it up once I'm home after Easter.
It's perfect for Switch, which I have with me, but if I'd rather have games on PS5 when they're available.

Can't stop playing it, it's got a real just need to do this before I stop thing going on.
Have explored most of the map now but one bit is a bit too dangerous for my liking so I'm waiting to go near that again.

I picked it up today too. Enjoying it a lot. Despite thinking fishing is probably the most boring thing imaginable I always like fishing in games. I've got the first boat upgrade but what's the deal with night - are you secretly supposed to be out at night gathering cool things or do you always get fucked up?

It's a lovely little game, I had a great time with it. Found I kept going for one more upgrade.
Just realised I said the same thing after finishing it haha.
Was gutted when it was done.

A couple of weeks since I finished this, and I've dipped in and out a bit more just because I like the vibe and its rhythms. Got the "bad" ending, but it was what I was aiming for so it's "good" all day long for me. :-D
It was a lot of fun, and at times really sunk its teeth into me. Bit of a shame it's relatively short, and if anything it rather squanders some of the systems it has with an overtly gamey set of zones - I think there's a sequel in here that perhaps layers on more story, more dread, and a better ramping up of atmosphere. Still highly recommended, but falls just shy of an indie classic for me.
When it inevitably starts appearing in the summer sales, the Humble Bundle, or whatever then anyone on the fence should absolutely dive in.

I’m still wringing the heck out of this, I really love the vibe. Just working my way through the fourth and last area now, ship maxed and most tools et unlocked and amassing lots of money now because there’s no big spends to soak it up any more. DLC my arse, please. I love the world.
