Supposedly goes live at 17.30 now according to the YouTubes, previous information said 18.00, so maybe half an hour of pre-amble or advertising beforehand.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was 18.00 though, as the Wholesome Direct starts at 17.00 with over 70 indie games to show off, and I'd be amazed if that didn't take a full hour.

The 2023 Future Games Show Summer Showcase from our friends at GamesRadar is happening today—Saturday, June 10—at 10 am PT. If you're not sure when that is in your time zone, here's a handy guide.

The videogame showcase will be streamed on Twitch, YouTube, GamesRadar, among other channels, and will feature 10 world premieres, plus new looks at a bunch of games, including:

• Lords of the Fallen
• Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical
• Life By You
• Layers of Fear
• Pacific Drive
• C-Smash VRS
• VR Skater

The show's being hosted by actors Yuri Lowenthal, the videogame voice of Spider-Man, and Laura Bailey, who can also be heard in Marvel's Spider-Man as Mary Jane, but who is best known as one of the founding members of Twitch D&D outfit Critical Role.

Ten world premieres apparently. After the disappointments of Thursdays' Summer Game Fest and Day Of The Devs, my expectations are set at a pretty low bar at this point.

Honestly, at this point, all I want to see is something from Double Fine, anything at all about Replaced, and I'd even take a cinematic trailer for Dragon Age: Dreadwolf at the expense of any actual gameplay footage.

Looked a bit like a death race in the world of Beyond A Steel Sky.

Star Trucker

Driving trucks, in space. I mean... you can do that in many other games already, for the most part, and they offer other things as well. Why is this necessary?

Lords Of The Fallen

Some kind of Souls-like.

Head Bangers: Rythym Royale

Something about pigeons from Team 17.

The Last Faith

"A pixellated take on Bloodborne" that looks very much like Castlevania.

Steel Seed

Sci-fi melee with robots.

Distant Bloom

Hexagon-based alien garden planting sim.

Go Fight Fantastic!

Co-op based top-down fighter.

Female pirate action-adventure that looked like it had come straight from Sid Meier's Pirates! in visual style.

Alaskan Road Truckers

Another truck simulator. "THIS IS HOW LEGENDS ARE MADE!"

The Book Walker: Thief Of Tales

That looked a bit like Dishonoured.

Deceipt 2

"Deceit 2 is a 6-9 player social deduction horror game where two among you have been Infected." Looked very red.

Life By You

Moddable open-life sim from Paradox. Kinda looks like a co-op version of The Sims.

VR SHOWCASE

C Smash VRS

A VR re-imagining of a Dreamcast squash game for Playstation.

Madison VR

Some horror game about polaroid cameras and blood.

VR Skater

There is something deeply unsettling about playing as a disembodied skateboard. Think I heard The Last Gang on the soundtrack.

Firewall Ultra

Tactical VR shooter for Playstation. 4 player co-op. Looked... standard.

Wallace And Gromit in The Grand Getaway

For Metaquest, looked underwhelming and janky as hell.

Surviving Deponia

Oh god, a survival base building game in the world of Deponia. I don't know what to think of that.

Homeseek

City building in a post-apocalyptic future where water is a scarce resource. These trailers are getting shorter and shorter.

Laika: Aged Through Blood

"A western-inspired motorvania set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland."

Space Gears

Mechs and terraforming on Mars.

Layers Of Fear

Horror game that I could swear I've played before. Is this a remake or a sequel?

Enchanted Portals

Cartoon game about little wizards. Looks more than a bit Cuphead.

Shattered Heaven

This one is already out. Card based fighting RPG.

Moving Out 2

90's cartoon looking thing about moving house.

First person horror. There were a lot of these today.

The Spirit Of The Samurai

Side-scrolling battler, ninjas vs underworld demons, with a stop-motion aesthetic that honestly reminded me of the demon from that Halloween episode of Smiling Friends.
