I thought they did a lot better than the men usually do in big games.
Spain were the better side, even without all the unnecessary falling over, but England weren't that far off. If a few of those decisions had gone their way it could have been a different story.
Just didn't really create enough chances though. And that long injury killed their momentum just when they'd finally picked it up.

I thought Spain managed to make England look pretty toothless. It barely ever felt like we were forcing them onto the back foot.....and when we did, they pushed us over and didn't get punished.

At some point people are going to lose their patience and snap. I for one am sick of every single thread being constantly interrupted with him demanding people explain things to him. |

You did at the women’s euros We were quite passive and nervy in the first half but then found confidence quickly in the second. Finals are always a bit of a nervy affair and teams usually take a while to warm into them. But the way the likes of Madrid or old United, or Germany or Italy internationally behave in finals is something I’ve never experienced with either my club or my country. |

When England reach a final in a major sport it feels like we either win by the skin of our teeth or don't turn up at all. I totally get what Kal is saying.
I've only seen Newcastle Utd get to 3 finals and they offered nothing and lost 2-0 in each of them.
