New game coming to PC, Console's and mobile plus a remaster of Shadow of the Templars
Love this series even if 3 and 5 aren't that great.

Found 5 very forgettable.
Hopefully the remaster is off the original and not directors cut. Didn't like the bubble heads they added.

I didn't mind 5 as much as the previous couple of block obsessed games (though I secretly think those aren't that bad either). Will be good to have another one in the series to play through.
Maybe this is the one where George finally wins over Blue Mike.

I didn't mind 5 as much as the previous couple of block obsessed games (though I secretly think those aren't that bad either). Will be good to have another one in the series to play through. Maybe this is the one where George finally wins over Blue Mike. Not unless he suffers a traumatic, personality altering head injury at the beginning of the game. |

I love Revolution Software. Tiny little UK developer, still being run by the same bloke who set it up a hundred years ago, still working on the same IP. Quietly pumping out titles now and again since the Amiga.

The PS1 was the first console I ever owned, I got it on Christmas Day and of the games I was given there was FF7, Tomb Raider and a collection of 3 games in one for a charity, one of which was Broken Sword. I loved it, still think fondly of it as a real adventure. A remake sounds nice, glad to hear about it

Ah! Made my day. I loved 1 and 2 and really liked 3 and 5 (4 was awful)

Tremendous news. I picked up 1 through 5 again on Steam Deck a few weeks ago coincidentally, think I may power through them ready for the new one!

I’ve only played 1, back on the original PS and I never finished it. Quite keen on the remaster but the art style for the new one is ugly as sin. Shame they haven’t kept the hand-drawn style.

So bs5 had fully 3d characters as they said its simply too expensive to do old style like bs1 and bs2 for characters Unsure why they are giving hand painted backgrounds. Shouldn't be more expensive than 3d ones? |
