Treated myself and my daughter to this to while away Christmas Eve together, it's about £15 on the epic sale, taken down to ~£10 with the 33% off voucher.
It's basically set in the fourth age of LotR and you play as dwarves trying to reclaim Moria. Basic loop is survival, pushing deeper into Moria, crafting and base building. It's really good and atmospheric.
She's not a fan of LotR at all, but she likes exploration/survival games and seemed to enjoy this one wrapped in a LotR wrapper
Had only encountered rats, wolves and a few goblins before hitting our first Uruk with my daughter getting killed, and me trying to desperately save her stuff. That's where we parked it for the night, but looking forward to delving deeper!
Not sure how much fun it would be solo, but with a group, it's great.
