I wanted to comment on this footage I saw and genuinely couldn't find a thread for it. I know people have been posting stuff in some of the star wars /games-fest threads but since its released in a couple of months and the usual hype wagon will be rolling soon its probably gonna needs its own thread.
anyhoo in the recent footage, walking out of the bar at the beginning and through the alleway with all the NPCs, side alleys / stalls just reminded me of walking around Cyberpunk in some of the early footage. So much happening around you and you think its all there for interaction but its just a load of set dressing.
Same with the space related stuff just has a starfield look to it with you moving the spacebox around your ship. The loading of planets seems better than starfield as it has an interactive feel.to it although they just changed up how the interaction works and hidden the transition in clouds instead of a loading animation.
Still, i'm kind interested in this based on the limited stuff i've seen so far. Don't think i'm day 1 (not that I ever) but i'll see how it goes first and then maybe jump in when you lot fomo me into it.
