Aye, I miss the glorious evenings/late nights of MW1, MW2 and MW3, and the first Black Ops. There was a decent EG team/lurkers that meant you always managed to get a good bunch online. The craic was sensational as well. If this is all cross play now, we could always try to get something going. I’m sure the one time I was the weak link on Frog’s Warzone team he and his mate were on Playstation and me Xbox.
Out of interest what do people favour playing? I much prefer Domination and Hardpoint (the latter because it’s levelling central).

Actually I just went to preloaded CoD for Friday via manage installation and I noticed that it cheekily auto downloads MW3 as a "suggestion".

I hear the campaign for modern warfare 2019 is decent? If so I might get that as a pube copy I think is £3 at the local vex.
To my shock last night only mw3 is on game pass. I went to download mw1 and couldn’t. Why not all 20+ games??

Yeah, ditto. Modified the installation last night to install the campaign and got rid of the MP.
I think I hit my MP peak back in the instagib days of UT, it's been a steady decline in reaction speeds since then and I feel like I'm wading through treacle compared to other players, especially on console.

Seems like you do get modern warfare 2 as well as 3, as that was an option to download as one of 20 multi gig installs  . I got mw1 from cdkeys so played that a bit today. |

I still need to dl the game. Left it to dl overnight and the entire open reach network in a big part of Birmingham has gone down completely since 2am this morning and possibly won't be fixed until tomorrow afternoon. So that was great.
I also noticed that on the list still to be downloaded is the fucking Black Ops Beta. I didn't ask to dl that but for some reason it believes I should have it on my hard drive.

I never trust the COD installer. I've chosen "just" what I want to install half a dozen times over the years and it's never enough. I always boot the actual game up afterwards and there's always something else that needs downloading.
Just trying to pre-load Black Ops 6 on the Xbox now. I've chosen the Campaign, Multiplayer and also Warzone in case I fancy a bit of that, 149.31GB.
We shall see!

Yeah, it's been a bit of a faff trying to install individual parts. I did mine via the Game Management but it still needed a 180GB download/install so it could get the COD HQ interface up and running.
At least it's done ahead of tomorrow. If you change your Timezone on Xbox to New Zealand, you can play it from 1pm on Thursday, otherwise it's 5am GMT on Friday.
