You'll need the Short Ritual Root Chalice so you can use the Makeshift Altar to search for eligible dungeons in progress. There was a time that you had to make it all the way to the bottom of the Lower Hintertomb Chalice, but you only need to complete the very first one now - the Pthumeru Chalice - and the Short Ritual Root Chalice will then be available to buy for 10 insight from the little gribbly dudes in the Hunter's Dream. Once you've got that you *should* be golden. If not, we can just farm all your missing Chalices pretty quick  Anyway, yell when you're about and I have no doubt you'll have a full group for that run for the Short Ritual Thingy in a bout 2 minutes! |

If we make the password "fontgeek" then if anyone's on and wants to run some levels just shout here and if anyone's about they should be able to join in from the makeshift altar and choosing "Co-op Quick-search". I think. Hopefully? Happy to help people run through the lower level dungeons to get all the chalices - just don't rely on me for directions because I get lost in these places every single fucking time  |

I’d be up for some co op dungeon crawling too My BL 30 character is a proper wrecker of bosses now. Got some more gems from that chalice dungeon I saw on YouTube, cursed ones but I’m using the weapon durability down plus the attack vs KIN down in the Saw Cleaver and attack versus BEASTS down in the Kirkhammer, meaning there’s no real drawback other than more repairs. I’ve got full inventory for every single purchasable item so blood echoes don’t really matter now Been mopping up a few bits, hadn’t beat story Amygdala, used Kirkhammer in hammer mode and absolutely destroyed it/her in no time at all Finished Eileen’s quest too, the fight with the Hunter in the Cathedral was tougher than most bosses. Tried it head on initially but got shot up immediately for instant death several times, and the time I didn’t and was doing well they bloody healed themselves and one shot me once more. Went back to the Hunter’s Dream, found that I had six Numbing Mist in storage. Went back, drew them towards the entrance, as soon as they started walking back, run in quick hits, dodge the gun, retreat. Numbing mist when they were down to half health, rinse & repeat - Hoonter down Why can’t you buy Numbing Mist btw? That would actually be useful in case I f*cked it up Also found a chalice glyph online where you can get a Blood Rock really quickly so have maxed both main weapons now |

If anyone fancies some absolute misery, I'm getting my arse handed to me by that naked rolling fat cunt in the 3rd level of the Defiled Chalice right now. Harder than Orphan, by a mile. He's not even a boss!

For future reference my PSN ID to anyone who wants it is: ZyrrI beat the big rolling bastard earlier, but the last boss of the dungeon (Defiled Chalice Amygdala) is an absolute nightmare. Your HP is halved in defiled dungeons, so any more than one hit before you can top your HP back up is game over. Gonna have a decent crack at it tomorrow |

Oh shit, sorry man I'd forgotten that when I used to play Evil Dead I got absolutely spammed with random friend requests on a nightly basis, so I disabled it.

I've only co-oped with Danno, but I don't recall us being too worried about our characters' levels; not sure if that answers your question quadfather . Also, from GameFAQs (I think):

Levels don't matter with the password.
I think Zyrr addressed the chalice question earlier but basically you need to run the first chalice (the one from Blood Starved Beast) to get the short root ritual chalice unlocked at the Insight bath. Just pop it on the Tombstone and plough through it, it shouldn't present any sort of challenge even if you weren't overlevelled
After that you'll be able to join anything other people get going with the code and the password

Cheers guys, ta for info. So as long as I'm not level 3 billion, it should be fine. I think I'm around level 80 but have only done up to and including Amelia at this point.
And yeah, I've done bsb and got the first chalice as I needed to do that anyway to get access to the dungeon that has the blood echoes glitch - so I've unlocked them to start with.
So I just need to whizz through the very first basic chalice dungeon and then I should be set.
