Not sure how many people bothered finishing or are still persevering with this, but the upcoming Patch 1.3 change log is now up on CDPR's site: www.cyberpunk.net/en/news/39092/patch-1-3-list-of-changesI fired up my saved game last night, incidentally. About 30 hours in and just finishing up with Panam. On PC I've got away (so far) fairly lightly in terms of any show stopping bugs; and when the game does click or get into its stride in certain missions, it can still feel pretty great.

I played at launch and PC was relatively fine for me apart from a side mission being broken (and not fixed even though patch notes said it was). It's always been the consoles that have really needed extra TLC.
Not a great game, but I loved the world despite there being fuck all to interact with in it.

I reinstalled this on my PS5. Was enjoying it until I realised there were literally no cars on the road as I was driving around. I guess that’s just a symptom of playing the PS4 version.
It’s a strange game, in some ways it’s really impressive and then it just breaks the immersion with stupid things like that.

Played it earlier this year, was enjoying it on first playthrough and it seemed that I could suss out very quickly its just overloaded with the same type of side missions all over, each patch brought in its own issues. Data logs becoming unreadable, mini map increased by about 200% if you're coming out of a menu while driving, gunplay in general seemed bad. Then at one point it wouldn't download the new patch at all so I just stopped. Maybe when the PS5 version is out I'll revisit, so prob next year at this rate.
Can you believe they had multiplayer planned for this?

It's laughable that we are almost a year on from release and it's still a mess. So far I've played through the tutorial up to the bit with Jackie twice and dropped it immediately afterwards, can't seem to get into it once it lets the reigns off.

Xbox series X version (one X) has shit loads of traffic on the road as it was the only console version that actually had some performance boost.
For all it's problems I still think it's an amazing game. Great story, characters and the city is incredible. I still find cd reds writing far better than nearly all other RPGs.

Seeing as though this is the fresh start forum, perhaps I could post a few thoughts on my unforgettable time with the game?

Think I’ll just wait on the next gen version. Maybe the traffic thing was a bug - id see headlights and tail lights in the distance and they’d just disappear as I got closer, I assumed it was a cutback to aid performance.

I wasn't on EG when this game came out to comment on it, but I really liked it. I think it helped that I had basically no expectations of it, I didn't read anything about it, I don't even think I saw a trailer for it really.
It's pretty wonky in places but a lot of fun. The city looks absolutely beautiful on my 2080 PC. I guess if I was on console with the performance issues I'd have fair ground to complain.
Bit of a shit show from the devs for sure, but if you can look past that it's a really good, fun game. Nothing stellar, but very solid and fun.

I want to play through it again on Series X (after completing it on PC), but waiting until it appears on Game Pass (it's got to at some point, right?)

I started it on PC but my CPU (4790k) is bottlenecking my RTX2070 and talk of patches led me to wait a bit. I still plan to get back to it but not planning the hassle of a CPU/mobo/ram upgrade any time soon...

Well tried the new patch on PC briefly and the performance has gone up a lot even if my CPU usage remains close to max. Might be worth me actually playing properly at some point soon.

Honestly, despite the bugs (of which I personally encountered very few and nothing game breaking) it's still one of my favourite games of last year. That I actually played a game for 40 - 50 hours is testament to how much I enjoyed it. It's also the first game of this length in a very long time that I'm seriously considering replaying too.(should say it's the PC version, the last gen version sounded broken af and they really shouldn't have bothered)
I totally get how they oversold it, but I still felt very engaged. Loved the world. Yeah, it's not very "interactive" but I don't actually give a shit because I don't need a bunch of tedious activities that I'd never actually do
And the characters and writing are still better than what most games offer.

Funny you mention this, because I more or less drifted away at this point and have only just got back into it. For me, I'm really enjoying the game though. There's a lot to critique I guess but it's holding up ok on the Series X. I get people disappointed there's not more to "do" but I'm comfortable with the main quest and a few emergent side-quests really. And I think it can be very pretty. So yeah, not a masterpiece, probably not even GOTY, but definitely an enjoyable time at the moment.

Installed it yesterday and was surprised to see a playtime north of 50 hours. For a game with fuck all to do I somehow spent a lot of time with it...

Yeah, put a load of time into it, amazing detail in the world in terms of art assets and yet it sometimes feels so empty.
It my "got 30 mins to spare, do a couple of missions and fuck off" game
New patch seems to have improved loading times, at least on the PS5

I was really enjoying it but haven't played for about 6 months. Decided to wait for patches, but yeah, they've been really underwhelming so far.
Given the state the game released in and how rudimentary the updates have been, they must've just been given orders to just ship the damn thing and hope for the best.

I also parked it on PS5 waiting for patches. Was really enjoying it but couldn't shake the feeling I was spoiling it for myself by persisting with a subpar version. Then bought it on sale after I got my new PC with a 3080. Was a bit disappointed how minimal the improvements were over PS5 given that PC is a proper next gen version.
Basically much more density to NPC crowds and that's about it. Didn't feel that compelled to get back into it as a result. Waiting for it to get the point where it's actually 'finished'. At this point happy for CD Project to take as long as necessary, I just hope they don't give up and move on.

Actually runs pretty decently on a good pc. The areas that are heavily a part of the story (afterlife bar etc) look absolutely incredible and it leaves me wishing they had just made a linear story and fucked the open world bit off as it's not massively necessary.

It does (I have a 5600x and 3080) so FPS is 60+ at the highest settings, but it's wasn't that visually different to the PS4 version running on PS5 (which also looks very good). Don't get me wrong it looks very nice, but it didn't Impress me as much as parts of Demon's Souls and Flight Sim did.

It looks good, but it really is the characters that kept me interested. Ultimately though it's mostly just that the writing is very nearly as good as the Witcher 3 for me. I'm willing to forgo quite a lot of shortcomings elsewhere when the writing is good.

I do intend to play CP2077 at some stage, but I'm honestly happy to wait until they're done with it. Happy to wait for the final release. So I'll probably play it in 2023.

I don't intend to stop playing it just to wait for the next-gen version (especially as it's quite pretty anyway) but even with the glacial pace I engage with games I reckon I'll have completed it before the update is released. Hopefully some sexy DLC will keep me engaged.
Or I'll just be onto Halo.
