Honestly it's fully worth the full price and will most likely be better than whatever else you are playing

Oh it's on sale again is it? Still not played it myself from purchasing the DLC in the last sale.
I've got a save just before the point of no return and I'm guessing a save after completion. Question is do I just jump back in and respec that character and do some of the side quests I'd left to get back into the swing of things or start over.
Guessing 2.0 is a big overhaul of stuff since I played it before that patch.

Pick up a 2nd hand copy of Cyberpunk PS4. Then get DLC on ps5 and I'm good?

The PS4 disc will give you access to the PS5 version so you should be fine.

That Chimera fight was kind of annoying. Probably not helped by having the most inappropriate weapons (katana, handgun and a sniper). Spent must of it running around in circles, particularly during the second phase. Took forever, but eventually did it.

Yeah, I dropped it to easy for that fight and then back to normal for the rest of the game. Really not fun if you're specced for hacking.
The turrets are supposed to help but they only lasted a couple of seconds.

I love the game a lot, and the expansion in particular is great.
But yeah that Chimaera fight was a bit tedious. Depending on your build it can be a very drawn out battle where a few mistakes can cost you dearly, or be still a bit drawn out but not too much if a challenge.
I'm not a huge fan of the whole intro to Dogtown and initial rescue sequence. It was good the first time but it feels very on rails. Prefer replaying Kompeki Plaza.
Picks up again massively once you start looking for Reed though.

I have no issue with redoing the plaza as it's one of the best missions in a game ever for me. Sure it's not as good on subsequent goes but no missions are.

What I love about this game is there's times when you can just shoot someone in the face, if you can't be arsed listening to their bullshit. I met that patriotic guy on top of a building for a mission, and decided to just slaughter them all.

Yeah it'll be interesting to see, but I think quite a few people involved in 2077 are working on Orion, and some of the new hires don't sound too bad, so I'm cautiously optimistic. Moving to Unreal Engine too, which makes sense from a pipeline point of view as it's easier to hire people to use a known system instead of having to train people, but I do like their engine for 2077. |
